I wake up every day and remind myself that we are still here. That even after losing 25 family members, even after watching our home be reduced to rubble, we are still fighting to survive.

But it is not enough to survive. We need a future.

💔 I want to rebuild. I want to find stability, to go to school, to create something out of the ashes of what we’ve lost. 💔 But we are starting from nothing. No home. No resources. No certainty about what comes next.

We are asking for help, not because we want to, but because we have no choice.

no, cuz they keep leah’s features but change her brown eyes to grey and make her dark braids blond. and it’s pretty clear majority of the fandom perceives book!annabeth to be white (even tho she’s described as having skin with a deep tan shade 💀) what with their depictions of her before the show reveal and the major backlash the annabeth casting got that the percy casting didn’t.

you can’t be racist to white people. if you think you can, please stop interacting with my blog. if you don’t understand how centering certain features like blondness and non-brown eyes is harmful, especially since majority of people always associate those features with whiteness, then idk what to tell you.

I know everyone is overwhelmed and stressed about so many different things in the world, but never forget your own power to help. I want to share an opportunity to help a palestinian family right now. My friend Ibrahim is only 15 years old and lives with his family in Gaza. Since the genocide started, he has been displaced several times, lost access to his education, and lives in fear of bombs. Only a couple of weeks ago his uncle was martyred by the occupation. Everything in Gaza is very expensive because of the occupation stopping aid from entering, so they are in need of funds to buy clothing for winter and food to survive until they can evacuate. He’s only fifteen and has so much life ahead of him and so many dreams and hopes for continuing his education and living a safe life. We can help that be a reality

ppl have been taking the idea of "post things u enjoy" to mean "don't be negative ever" when all it actually means is that if u dread what u are doing for fun, you're not doing it for fun. i enjoy critical thinking and analysis. sometimes that includes tearing into something or looking at its lost potential.

there's a lot of inconsistencies in rick's work but the funniest to me is percy in the beginning of ttc saying that thalia, annabeth, and grover are his best friends and then some chapters later saying he doesn't know how to talk to girls. rick, u just established 2/3 of percy's best friends are girls. the other is a goat. what are you talking abt
