I got a number of asks regarding the molting the poor babies have to struggle through, as well as Dean’s first encounter with such a molt.

…he kinda overreacted, haha. But hey, Pamela is a cool gal and will not make fun of Dean’s motherhenning (…much :P) 

The molting for bonded angels goes hand in hand with a growth spurt, and the large amount of growing they need to do in a relatively short timeframe makes it a rough time :[ It hurts, like growing pains everywhere, lots of itching from feathers falling out and new ones growing in, and it’s usually accompanied by flu-like symptoms, poor babies.

ERASE the idea that America saved lives by dropping two atomic bombs on Japan from your minds. ERASE the idea that it was anything more than a political move to scare Russia and also to satiate US curiosity as to the true ability of nuclear weapons. Nagasaki and Hiroshima were not military bases. They were heavily populated civilian cities chosen precisely bc the U.S. wanted to see how many people an atomic bomb could kill in one go. Japan was on the verge of surrendering, the U.S. literally wanted to test out their nuclear weapons on people that they deemed disposable. That is it. If those bombs were dropped by any nation other than the US veryone involved would have been tried as war criminals.

I've been watching spn since high school but for some reason it took me this long to make actual art for it.

Since Tolkien never said how old Legolas is I choose to believe he is the baby of the elves. I know the movies gave him an age but I like to pretend Legolas is like, barely an adult, like, 200 years old, max. Everything is just much funnier that way. All his dumb facial expressions, his classic lines such as “this forest is old, very old”, and his super competitive personality. Just imagine the Fellowship being like “ah yes, Legolas, so old and wise, he must be ancient” then we got like Aragorn and Gandalf laughing in the background because they know Legolas is the Elven middle earth equivalent of a 20 year old frat boy.
