Fuck it really feels like that right now. It's to a point where I can't do anything but try to disassociate because the pressure is becoming too much. I'm Australlian, but I fear for my friends in the US. The friends who I have waited my entire life to have. I'm afraid of this shit coming here, and being unable to provide safe harbor for my friends should they need it. Nearly every night for weeks I've had nothing but nightmares about the end of the world. It's so hard because I can't consciously escape into my own world anymore, it's involuntary and happens when it's not convenient and doesn't when it would be. I've been having nightmares of nukes and bombs dropping and falling and the anxiety in my chest is constant now. I feel like I'm living in a constant nightmare. I've tried to shut off from it all but it's like no matter what I do the problems of the world keep finding me. I just can't escape.

I'm scared, I'm angry, I'm hurting and in mourning for the hope I once had for this world. It just feels like each day the light is fading and I don't know what to do, how to stop it. I've tried so damn hard to fight it. I don't understand how anyone could tolerate such evil in this world, and why I am expected to suck it up. It's just becoming too much. I just want to exist in peace without my life or the life of my fellow living beings under threat. Is that too much to ask? Or is humanity really so far gone that those of us who believe in true peace and love are the minority? Is hate all we've become?

I also would like to share something: For the past 3 years, I have worked as a Survey Research Interviewer at a local University of mine under the Public Health department, meaning I call random numbers of people to see if they want to do a health survey or not. The surveys we do are done all across the U.S., and recently, the most common survey that we do (that is under the State's health department and the CDC) added questions regarding sexual orientation and gender identity.

I just want to tell you that if you don't want to do the survey, please say something like "You're not interested," "Take me out of your list," or "Don't call me again." You can even curse us out if you wish to. Because if you just hang up on us, then we are forced to call your number again in the future (probably that same week or month). But if you say anything that I listed, then we will take your number off the list immediately.

If you do want to do the survey, don't mention anything about you being queer or trans/nonbinary. You can lie to us because we have no choice but to code the answer you've told us. I personally skip the question about sexual orientation and gender identity to protect whoever I'm interviewing because even though the survey we do claims to be anonymous, I live in a red state so I'm not taking any chances.

Please do what it takes to protect yourself these next 4 years.

It seems that Neo-nazi scum has shown up on our doorstep. The Neo-nazi group known as the Nationalist Workers Alliance plan to host a public event at the Polish House Syrena, 1325 Stud Rd, Rowville VIC 3178, on Friday the 13th of December at 6:30pm. We cannot allow these types of scum to feel welcome in our communities. Shame on the Polish House Syrena for allowing such an event to be hosted there, especially when so many who have attended other events there are descended from victims of the holocaust caused by the exact type of rhetoric the Syrena is now happy to host.

This one is an informational video for Rowville residents, Melb activists and the general public on an upcoming public fascist, neo-Nazi event in Melbourne to be held on Friday December 13 at 6:30PM at Rowville's Polish Club.
