Takes on House MD from someone who never watched a single episode of the show

Okay so, I was gonna watch it... But cognitive rigidity got in the way and I spent hours doom scrolling on the fandom tags and Pinterest posts.

Here's what I got so far:

Suffice to say, I have the feeling I'm gonna love this show.

Namgyu likes him. He hates him. He wants to be him. He’s jealous of him. He wants his approval.

Namgyu hates the way Thanos looks down on him, hates how he blatantly says his name incorrectly. Hates how Thanos seemingly shows more respect to timid and meek Minsu, and a bitch that is 1000% looking down on him (Semi) than he does Namgyu—when Namgyu was fulfilling the role of the dutiful yes-man. And instead of snapping at Thanos, he masks his seething anger behind laughter.

He hates him so much that he wanted him dead. Going so far as thanking MG for doing it. But then he goes ahead and thanks him too many times, and you can tell he’s overcompensating for another unspeakable emotion.

And he insists that he hates him, he hates him, he hates that fucking asshole. Not when Thanos never bothered to remember his name, remember his face. Doesn’t respect him enough to do so apparently, even when Namgyu went the extra mile to give the rapper freebies at the club.

Namgyu fills in the void Thanos leaves behind by fully embodying his personality and physicality. He takes four pills after his death. It’s just a confidence booster, he tells MG, as he parrots rap verses and catchphrases in a haze, his grip on reality loosening minute by minute.

personally i think the funniest langdonmel reunion possibility would be she tries to reintroduce herself. like full on, “hi dr. langdon, i’m not sure if you remember me but i’m melissa king, everybody calls me mel😊”

and he’s just like. ???. obviously i remember you mel? i popped a couple librium on that shift it’s not like i was dropping fucking acid?

basically just mel thinking she didn’t make as big an impression on him as he did her vs langdon trying to be chill about how she imprinted herself on his soul after 12 hours of knowing each other and he’s thought about her pretty much every day for ten straight months

Could I explain the actual rules of how they’re used? Absolutely not.

Do I rely on sensing a tremor in the force to tell me where to use them? Yes and this has never failed me even once.

I don't think y'all realize just how significant the "sensitive people' scene is. It's the first time I clocked that Langdon actually did have a drug problem. I could tell by the way he sat down because that's how *I* sit down.

When you have chronic pain, things as simple sitting down can be painful. You can see it in the way that he braces against the wall, moves in spurts, almost lets a breath out when he finally gets down, only moves his head once he's down.

His attention is 100% on Mel, but his body language says otherwise. His whole body is facing straight, he's not relaxed or calm, he's facing the room more than her. Because he literally can't move his body. He'd probably double over in pain or not be able to move. But he's moving as much of his body as humanly possible to look at her.

He is putting himself through physical pain to comfort Mel. Her comfort and trust in her abilities are more important to Langdon than his own. He's gonna be feeling it for the rest of the day at absolute minimum, but he doesn't even hesitate.
