This was so much fun and I got to try out some new brushes and styles (as well as drawing dogs!!!)

I am happy that I was choosing this fic, even though I usually do not ship RK1K that much.

And also it's the first time I had to draw Markus! So I thought about it as a challenge and I am so happy with the results!

Also, Leelany is a nice writer to work with, very responsive and giving ideas and input, but gladly taking what you create and happy with it, even though it is not accurate in all parts.

Wonderful artists @cptjh-arts and @spoluk decided to make art for my RK1K fic "All’s Fair in Love and War" and it was a joy working with them! I'm so happy I can finally share my fic and their amazing work with you! 💙

The deviant hunter has found the deviant leader in Jericho, but things go slightly different after that. When Markus can't leave the injured Connor behind, they find themselves trapped in the ship after the bomb goes off—now they are forced to work together to escape.

Can Markus really trust that Connor is on their side, or is he only pretending just to betray him in the end? To what extent is Connor still controlled and manipulated by Amanda as the two fight their way through Detroit in search of North and their people to start a revolution? Will Connor get another chance to break out of his program? Does he even need to?

DBH Big Bang 2023 time!!

So excited to be a part of this year’s DBHBB!

I got to work with some absolutely incredibly people during this project. The fic I had the pleasure of making a few pieces for is called All’s Fair in Love and War and I’m telling you I frOTH OVER IT!!!

@leelany-world wrote it and you all should definitely check them out if you haven’t already!

This piece is done based off of their 2nd chapter and I hope you all read the fic to the end because it is to die for!

This was my first ever big bang that I got to participate in and I’m so happy to say it was definitely a very memorable one!

Although this has been the toughest year for art, I’m really grateful for this event as it pushed me out of my comfort zone and back into the world of creating pieces for myself and for things I love. Thank you, everyone, for all the support, encouragement, and inspiration.

CAPTAIN'S CABIN

Markus was deep in thought, pondering the next steps his people needed to take to fight for their freedom. Still, he heard the other android approaching after the others had left; sure and strong footsteps pounding on the metal floor of the ship. 

“I've been ordered to take you alive.”

He turned to face his enemy—no, he was not the enemy. The RK800, a tool used by CyberLife, built and programmed to hunt down his own kind. He stood in the doorway of the cabin, his gun pointed at Markus. Gone was his android uniform; disguised as a deviant, he wore baggy jeans, a leather jacket, and a beanie in order to sneak onboard the ship.

“But I won't hesitate to shoot if you give me no choice.”

They watched each other carefully as Markus took a confident step towards the other android.

“You're Connor, aren't you? That famous deviant hunter. Well, congratulations. You seem to have found what you were looking for,” Markus slightly mocked as he spread his arms wide.

“You're coming with me!” Connor ordered, glaring at the leader of the deviants.

“What are you doing? You are one of us… You can’t betray your own people…” Markus tried to reason with the deviant hunter. “Our cause is righteous, and we are more than what they say. All we want is to live in freedom.” He took another deliberate step towards Connor, who remained silent, still pointing the gun at Markus.

“It's time to deci—”

But before Markus could finish Connor's eyes widened, and at the same moment he noticed red dots moving across Connor's chest and face—snipers!
