Omg did she not exist before??? I got really immersed in the fandom early on in my watch through of the show,so I was def reading fics about her beforehand.

I’m trying to make a list of the best South Park retcons (and eventually rank the,). I’m talking about big plot points, not necessarily small things like a character’s names changing - well, with one exception…

So far I have (in no particular order):

a) Cartman’s parentage (and Liane’s intersex status)

b) Tolkien’s name

c) the cultish ties to Kenny’s deaths

d) Kenny coming back after permanently dying at the end of season 5

e) Ike’s adoption and Canadian ancestry

f) Manbearpig’s existence

g) Saddam’s return

Are there any others I’m missing that you (or your followers) can think of? Also, are there any that people shrink should be ranked particularly low or high?

what’s your favorite of all time south park episode?

I really like Woodland Critter Christmas. It's so absurd and fucked up and it has me in side-splitting laughter by the end every time.

Oh my goodness, hello anon! I'm so sorry if you asked this a bit ago and are still awaiting a reply. This is the first ask I've ever gotten (and tysm for that!)

I'm constantly thinking out different plot bunnies in my head. The Nedbo fic came after a rewatch of S1 Ep2 'Volcano.' The paternal attention the couple gave to Kenny really spoke to me, ESPECIALLY the part where he drinks gasoline. I couldn't stop thinking about them as (imperfect) parental figures, and I really started wondering about what Jimbo must have gone through in his childhood to make him think that drinking gasoline was a good and admirable thing to do.

I also tend to use fanfiction as an escapist tool, and found family is one of my favorite tropes. I combined that with my love of Old Gays™️ and BadaBing BadaBoom! The fic was born. :)

Anyways I'm so glad you enjoyed it, and thank you so much for the ask! I do have two more fics on the way rn, they're just taking a bit of time to marinate.
