Big Update 8/11/19

These last few months have been quite terrible, but things are looking up!

I start school at my new college next Monday. I need an appointment with Student Disability Services to help me get the accommodations I need.

In terms of my health, my GI track keeps getting worse. Now my intestinal motility has flares of either not moving at all, or cannot stop spasaming. I’m now taking motility drugs in an attempt to regulate it. Also, I developed CRPS. I was hospitalized for 5 days with a nerve block to try and help me getting my hand moving again.

They have also determined I have Small Fiber Poly Neuropathy. My doctor believes this is the source for my GI issues and my pots. We have determined my SFPN is autoimmune in issue, but doesn’t line up with any 1 autoimmune disease. We are moving forward in building a case to insurance to get me on IVIG.

I’m also changing schools and moving closer to home and my main base hospital. Currently I’m driving the distance every day and it’s just awe full.
