(Spencer Reid x Goth Reader)

Hello Lovelies! So I had read read a Reid x Goth reader (*linked at the bottom) and when I tried to look for more, I couldn’t find any- so I decided to just write one myself!

Plot: At his local coffee shop, Spencer meets a new barista who has an interesting sense of fashion.

Doctor Spencer Reid liked to stick to a routine, so when he was forced to take another route to work due to some construction he noticed a little coffee shop that he wouldn’t have seen on his usual drive.

He convinced himself to park and grab a few coffees for his friends. When he walked in he was immediately hit with the smell of the strong drink, but what really grabbed his attention was the girl standing by the cash register. Her outfit underneath her apron was black with hints of red, her little accessories were matching. It was her makeup though that really caught his attention, her lips were painted crimso- under other circumstances that color would’ve reminded Spencer of some memories that he hoped to forget, but for her the color just..fit.

He blinked a bit and snapped out of his trance before walking over to the register “Um,” Spencer has always been awkward with talking to girls but he seemed to be having extra trouble “Welcome, what can I get you?” Her tone and small gestures (or lack of, in this case) led Spencer to believe she didn’t enjoy her job and she seemed a bit tired which was ironic since she’s in a coffee shop. “Just-just a black coffee” he cleared his throat and shifted a bit.

Spencer looked at her name tag and it said (Y/N), he thought that was a pretty name. At this point Reid had forgotten about getting coffee for everyone else, he only remembered when he heard (Y/N) ask for his card. Quickly he grabbed his wallet and handed her a five dollar bill “I like your clothes, by the way” he managed to say, she smiled- not much but it was there “thanks, I um..well you look like a teacher’s assistant, but I like your tie!” They both laughed softly “I’m kidding, I like your clothes too” from the way her eyes flickered from Spencer then down to the counter, it was clear that she seems just as nervous.

The two stood there awkwardly before another girl working behind the counter told (Y/N) that she should get back to work, (Y/N) groaned softly “Can I get a name for your coffee?” She asked “Doc-Spencer” he was so used to saying ‘Doctor’ before his name due to work. As she wrote on the cup, she asked “Were you gonna say Doctor?” Spencer scarfed the back of his neck “yeah..Dr. Spencer Reid, I work for the FBI-“ “Wow, really? Wait but how old are you?” She seemed in awe at the fact that Spencer worked for the FBI, or maybe it was the fact that he was a ‘Dr’ “I get that question a lot, hah- twenty six” she smiled, it was much more noticeable this time “your coffee will be done in a bit, Doctor”

And in no time, she called out his name and he went over to the counter “Here you go, one black coffee” he took the cup and smiled “Thank you,” “Hey it’s no problem” then they just kind of..stood there again. It’s like they both wanted to say something but almost didn’t know how to phrase it

“um, you know there’s about 14 different types of goth fashion?” He brought up randomly, the boy had looked up a couple things in that time he was waiting for his coffee “Really? What type am I?” (Y/N) leaned onto the counter a bit “Well from your outfit you seem like a ‘Nu Goth’, but from your pins you have hints of a ‘geek goth’- I like your pins, by the way” Next to her name tag she had three pins, a D&D die, the triforce from LOZ, and something else that surprisingly Spencer didn’t recognize.

“Hm, really? What type would you be- if you were goth” Spencer thought at the question “a Corp Goth because it means I get to keep my tie” he was referring back to when (Y/N) complimented his tie. She laughed breathily “hey, could I get your number? I don’t want to keep you here all day” and plus, more people started to show up and (Y/N) had to get back to work “yeah! Here-“

Spencer arrived at work with a little pep in his step and everyone seemed to notice- they were professional profilers for a reason. He sat down at his desk and took a sip of what remained from his coffee “Did Pretty Boy get a girlfriend or something?” Derek asked, he was mostly just teasing so when Reid responded with “Well, I got a number” he was caught off guard for a second but quickly pat Spencer’s arm and cheered “Wow! An actually phone number?” He soon regretting telling Derek this though since he wouldn’t stop bring it up

It was Sunday, the day prior the Losers were at the Quarry for way longer than they should’ve been. At first (Y/n) thought that everyone’s parents were only slightly annoyed, the worst reaction coming from a screaming Ms. Kaspbrak- but when she noticed that Stan hadn’t showed up to their planned arcade day she realized that he had gotten in bigger trouble. 

After saying goodbye to the other losers, saying she had to finish something at home, she got into her big and rode towards the taller males house. She knew that if he was truely in trouble that she couldn’t just walk up to his door and knocked. She grabbed some pebbles off the ground and threw them at Stan’s window. (Y/n) threw about 4 before he opened his window “what are you doing here?” He whisper-yelled at her “If my mom catches you I’ll be in so much trouble!” He tried sounding angry but was pretty grateful that she showed up “I wanted to check up on you! Can I come in?” “Yeah sure, let me just drop down my latter” it took her a second to realize he was being sarcastic “oh, haha” He smiled and said “give me a second, I’ll open the door” he closed his window and disappeared into his room.

A few seconds later, Stan opened the front dorr and waved his hand in, silently telling her to hurry. She cleaned her shoes on the door mat so she wouldn’t get dirt in the insanely clean house before the two rushed up to the room. Once inside, they could finally talk “So you got grounded? What a loser” she teased before sitting on his bed “Yeah I..I talked back? I guess? My father was pretty angry and called you guys bad influences and I said ‘at least I’m not an annoying parent’ or something like that” (y/n) couldn’t help but started laughing “Really? Talking back to your parents seems kind of out of character for you” “Yeah, whatever” he said, rolling his eyes and sitting next to the girl

There was a brief pause before Stan spoke again “Why aren’t you with the others?” “Well, they can get pretty tiring to be around, I normally count on you to keep me interested and since you weren’t there..it got to be a lot really quickly” He could feel his cheeks beating up a bit, he was the reason that (Y/n) would stay with the group for as long as she did “Stanley! We’re going out for a bit, if you leave the house we’ll know!” A loud masculine voice yelled from beyond the door, (Y/n) assumed it was his father. She quickly jumped and Stan shushed her “Yeah, alright, I’ll be here, obviously” he kept the last part quiet. Once the downstairs door closed, (Y/n) let out a sigh of relief before falling back into a laying position “It would’ve been bad if we got caught” she said with a laugh before looking at Stan. “Yeah, it would’ve” He examined her face, his cheeks slowly becoming red before looking quickly looked away “well um- we have the house to ourselves, do you want to go downstairs and play Clue?”

After a few rounds ((Y/n) winning most of them) they but the board game away “well! This has been fun, do you think your parents will unground you tomorrow?” “Probably not but uh..this had been fun” she quickly kissed his cheek “then I’ll be back tomorrow, next time I’ll bring some snacks” she made her way to the door “See you soon, Stan” the blushing mess of a boy stumbled out a ‘yeah-‘ as she left the house

It was was slow day in the dorms, class had ended about two hours ago and nothing was really happening. Mina was bored, and she wasn’t really used to being bored. She had noticed (y/n) on the couch reading some book about some guy, Mina decided to walk over and talk to her “Hey, you!” (Y/n) looked up at her book and smiled softly “Hey, Mina, you need something?” “Let’s spar!” (Y/n) thought about it for a couple of seconds, she hasn’t fought/sparred in awhile and she was getting rusty so it wasn’t a bad idea “Yeah, sure, let’s spar”

After the two girls changed into more appropriate clothing, they started. At first it was just walking ion a circle, waiting for the other person to strike first. Mina examines her face for a bit, trying to see if she could tell (y/n)’s next move. She noticed how serious the other girl looked and..it was kinda cute. (Y/n) noticed Mina let her guard down and she quickly pinned her down in one swift motion “wow, that was quick! You have to keep your guard up, Mina!”

This repeated for awhile, Mina realizing that (y/n) was actually very attractive and (y/n) pinning her down “What is clouding that head of yours?” She asked, Mina just shrugged in reply.

Once both of them (mostly Mina) were sore from sparing, they decided to stop “We should try again tomorrow, I’ll totally get you then” (y/n) laughed at her confidence and said “okay, if you say so”

After classes the next day, they quickly got changed and went right back to fighting. When (y/n) tried to knock her down, Mina blocked her. She realized she would need to do something else and was trying to figure out how. “Hm, you might actually get me today” (y/n) teased but right as she finished speaking Mina grabbed her arm and threw her over her shoulder before cheering to herself “Finally! I got you!” The girl on the floor started laughing “good job!” Once (y/n) regained the wind that was knocked out of her, she was helped up.

The two girls took a small break after that, drinking water from their school given water bottles “you’re really cute, you know” (y/n) said, not thinking much of it, Mina on the other hand, but blushing quite a bit “oh?” She tried thinking of a response “well I personally enjoyed seeing you on the ground like that” Mina whispered a ‘what-‘ to herself before she heard (y/n) laugh. She took a sip of her water before gently hitting the pink girl’s shoulder “well maybe I like getting thrown down like that” she was trying to joke back with Mina which just made Mina blush some more. (Y/n) stood up from their seat in the ground and wiped some water off her chin “c’mon, let’s continue”

Their sparring continued for awhile, it’s been about two weeks. Both girls already had each other’s moves down so they’re both challenged to learn something new each time. One day it was getting pretty tough for Mina, she’s either been apprehended or knocked down a bunch of times already and she didn’t know how to get the upper hand.

One of the things she’s noticed when fighting is that (y/n)’s face will get all serious and her nose will scrunch up and Mina thought it was the cutest thing ever “you’re cute when you’re serious,” she said which made (y/n) laugh a bit “really?” “Yeah, your nose gets all schrunched up and everything” when (y/n) laughed again, Mina realized this was her chance. After getting (y/n) down she cheered “finally! You were super tough today, I was thinking I would never get you down” (y/n) got up after a couple of seconds before saying “I’m starving, do you want to go grab something?” “There isn’t really much in the ki-“ no I mean like we can go somewhere” (y/n) explained. Mina felt a smile tug at her lips “you’re asking me on a date?” Now (y/n) was blushing a lot “well- do you want it to be a date?” Mina modded “yeah, of course, let me take a shower and I’ll see you in the lounge in 30,” she pecked the other girls cheek “you should take a shower too, you’re all sweaty” as she walked off (y/n) said “yeah! Will-will do!” She gently placed a hand on her cheek where she had been kissed and grinned like an idiot

Hey hey! So um first of all I’m Mod Shuichi! I’m sorry if this isn’t good hah, I’m trying my best!

Secondly, I can’t do every character perfectly, so some may seem a little ooc, but if you want to join and help out you should definitely say so! I’ll take all the help I can get!

Now rules-

What you can request

Smut - I roleplay and I’ve done my fair share of smut, but I normally do MxM and I’m assuming most of the requests (if I get any hah) will be MxF so let me apologize in advance if it’s written poorly.

Fluff - Who doesn’t like fluff?? A monster, that’s who, and I’m not a monster.

Angst - I’m a major crybaby so sorry if the angst isn’t like super angsty hah

Blood - I’ll do stuff like ‘### sees S/O dead’ but I won’t do major gore and won’t describe any bloody scenes in great detail

Alternate Universes - I’ll do anything that has to do with AU’s as long as it doesn’t change the characters personalities

Mental disorders (?) - By that I mean I’ll only do stuff I have some knowledge on, I haven’t experienced any mental disorders so of course they won’t be 100% accurate (e.g. : ### comforting depressed S/O)

What I won’t do

Any illegal sexual stuff - This means beastiality, incest, pedophilla, rape, all that stuff

Certain Kinks - like anything with bodily liquids, dismemberment, DDLG, etc

Extreme Gore - I already stated this but, I’ll briefly discribe a murder scene if necessary but nothing too detailed
