Hi! I’m fairly new when it comes to drawing human bodies and I was wondering if you have any tips on how you can study anatomy the best… I’m genuinely kind of clueless.

ok i’m kinda awful at it but i did life drawing lessons for a few years and the best advice i can say is practice drawing anatomy fast. like we would start by trying to draw from reference in 30 seconds. then build up to a minute then 5 minutes. by limiting ur time it forces u to analyse what’s the most important stuff to get on paper to get the information across with as little detail as possible. also a strange tip but if i’m drawing digitally i try not to zoom in and just view the entire canvas particularly at the anatomy structure sketch stage. allowing u to focus on the overall form outside of the little details!! with time you’ll start finding shapes in the human form that not only speed it up but make a great base to add detail onto? like i always start by drawing an egg shape as the torso, then a triangle for the pelvis/hips etc. 💕 try quickposes website or drawing from photo reference or even photos you take. not everyone likes realism but understanding realism in the human form takes u a long way in whatever style u like <3
