When Danny turned 25 he realized that he was already one quarter of a human life. And as a halfa that was considered enough for him to be an adult. Since he was one of two living halfas that means that there wasn't much information on them.

Not that he liked Vlad and once he got the opportunity moved far away from him. But Danny ended up growing out of his human biology and into his ghostly one. So on the day of his 25th birthday it wasn't a joyous occasion.

It was painful and overall gore, becoming something so in human that he couldn't possibly stay among the humans. So he hid away from society realizing that he couldn't possibly live with them.

His life was essentially over just as it got started and everything he wanted to do went out the window with it. It wasn't even fair.

So when he falls into a portal and ends up on a different version of Earth he's slightly confused. He no longer has the appearance of a humanoid figure but he can definitely shift it to something more approachable.

So he takes on the form of a deer and spends most of his time outside of a city that seems to generate ectoplasm. Spending most of his days in the forest he enjoyed it.

All was going well until he ran into a young human traveler. A clear adult who was most likely in his early twenties. He had black hair and blue eyes and simply stared at Danny and Danny stared back. The man looked tired but he was definitely something.

And then he thought that would be the only time he would ever see him but he kept visiting the woods. He wouldn't approach Danny but he would look curiously as if he was trying to find something. Perhaps he could tell that he wasn't a deer?

Then he came back with a bag almost as if he was leaving on a trip and he offered his hand out.

"There were rumors when I was younger of a deer who was a guardian spirit who protects anyone who asks. I'm assuming that's you, I was wondering if you would be my guardian while I travel?"

Danny was pretty much confused cause he definitely doesn't know where the rumors came from. But since this man seems to be not like most humans he decided to go along with it.

"My name is Bruce Wayne, do you have a name?"
