It's a bit annoying when you're source divergent, but only for the sequal/continuation show.

Everything from the original I remember, step for step, event for event. But I was split just short of the new series of the show when it started to air. So my source/pseudo memories are all wonky compared to canon. Though surprisingly, the people (Sourcemates) didn't change compared to canon.

I dont know. I feel like I am rambling. But i can't be the only one here who has the same problem. I do my best to source seperate, and i have grown far beyond my original material. i just feel I am not good enough compared to my canon counterpart. He did everything right and got a happy ending, while I fucked up and got some sad shitty ending. It's frustrating, I'd have perfer having to deal with the direct canon stuff rather than this.

But I am rambling again.
