I honestly didn't know what I was doing but I know what I want to achieve.

Made a custom brush but didn't use it with it's initial settings. Twas too thin. Still ended up using a thick brush - the one thing I wish I won't use because I was experimenting. Why do I want to use a thinner brush? It's because I kept comparing my works with others with thin outlines. In the end, I thought perhaps I won't be able to do that kind of style because that wasn't my style 🤷‍♂️ THIS is my style. Heavy outline. Hard edges. Pointy. I mean it's okay to experiment or get inspiration from others right? Thing is I get easily frustrated when I can't recreate the vision I have in my head. So I go back to my usual stuff. Which is not a bad thing. See the pushing and pulling? Told yall I don't know what I am doing hahaha

If I go back to my previous drawing of my very first otome husbando (hi Yooseong-ah), I can say I improved somehow.

Swear I had to convince myself to dial down the blush because Idk I like a blushy boi aaand I think I learned something about myself as an artist or someone who draws lol. I'll keep it to myself for now. Maybe if an opportunity presents itself, amma show it to yall?

Still have pending art in queue but guess what I created another one. I still have to make a storyboard for a comic. My wips are protesting already hehe

Fresh Paint Part 2

And at long last (lol) part 2 is up.

Personally, I can really hear Sylus saying the line at the 3rd panel. You know, with his low, raspy and slow voice. I don’t know. You tell me.

My fave part here is the 4th panel. When I was making the sketch, I can’t help but pause and bask in the glory of this comedic scene. I have an explanation as to why they have varying distance from Sylus, but I’ll let you all use your imagination. The sky is the limit. You can also ask me haha 🤣

Fresh Paint Part 1

When was the last time I made a comic? I can’t remember… 2021? Hmm.

Somewhere this year I said I should go back to making 4-panel comic strips again bc I was inspired by one of em artists here. I never did. Until one night I read that unhinged joke and thought ‘hmm it fits, it fits’. The next morning a storyboard was born. Later that night, first panel was complete. The same night, I gave up on the second panel because I can’t get it right. The next morning, starting with a fresh brain, I attempted making the second panel. Boom. I completed it. Everything’s smooth sailing after.

Expect Part 2 next year. Nahh, I’ll try to finish it before the year does.
