I need some heavy whump shows recommendations.
I’ve watched a lot of the essentials like SPN, Daredevil and the likes of it and I need new ones to watch.

The show was titled Cobra Kai, so a focus on Miyagi was never anticipated. However, it balanced between the two dojos effectively. The writers highlighted the significance of both throughout the seasons. Miyagi represented defense, while Cobra Kai embodied offense—it was that straightforward. And Johnny Lawrence's character development ensured he teaches his students the true meaning of “strike first, strike hard, no mercy,” all while adhering to ethical boundaries. This approach empowers them to succeed not only on the mat but also in life, instilling values that extend beyond martial arts. That’s what Johnny’s Cobra Kai represents now.
Now that the show is over, I can't help but feel like the narrative all along was from the perspective written from a dudebro mindset.
They say both styles are needed. Ok. Cool. I agree. But at the end only one was rewarded. And it wasn't a mixed bag of winnings. it was all people who originally belonged to Cobra Kai.
Like with the Miyagi twist~~~ to make him "darker" you can't really convince me the showrunner's had much respect for the OG movies and and Miyagi's teachings because in their mind even if they call out how toxic it was that Cobra Kai was more appealing cause it's "badass"
Fuck maybe I'm overreacting here, but damn.
