“What’s the Upside?” Pre-orders are now open on my site (link in profile) for this 12x12 print. This is a digital illustration that is inspired by a certain strange T.V. series and an even stranger time period for us in the United States. This artwork features two sides of one coin, or in this case, the White House. One version is normal, clean and blue-green, while the other version is a more sinister red with a hostile takeover taking place. Swipe for view of flip side. So I just finished a pretty amazing project I’ve been working on at the @bakerydistrict for the past few weeks for @fortsmithcoffeeco . It’s the largest and most detailed artwork I’ve created yet. So much so, I wore out two paintbrushes in the process. Super proud to be a part of the ongoing “Social Connecting Campaign” for @crystalbridgesmuseum and @themomentary . My work is titled “Automated Comfort” and it features some of our essential workers comforting each other the only way we can right now — through technology. *Swipe to seek full work. There are two parts of this project. The first is artist postcards. You can pick up or request bundles of these postcards for your family, friends and/or community to color in and write a message to essential workers. Once finished, simply mail them back to Crystal Bridges and they will deliver them to local essential workers. The second portion of the project is that all nine participating artists created their image on a 4’x8’ board as a mural. These murals will go on a tour around NWA to hospitals and senior centers to help comfort essential workers and patients. Crystal Bridges will also be sharing these murals online so you can view from wherever you’re located. A big thanks to Crystal Bridges and The Momentary for organizing this wonderful project that continues to give back to their community and to Arkansas. Happy New Year’s Eve! So, I have been working on a few projects that I haven’t been able to share quite yet. Here’s a sneak peek at my newest piece of art that is a commemorative work for the 2020 Fort Smith ball drop created in the Art Deco style from the 1920’s. This print will be available in a very limited edition print of only 25.
