ngl i'm laughing at min heejin saying illit's copying newjeans because like. . . 1. similarities are gonna happen girl. you should know this of all people. 2. they're literally not copying newjeans they're just using the concept that's trendy right now. a concept that has no copyright because why would it? kpop didn't invent 'pure girl next door' its just a thing that's in the world's culture. now's the time to step down with grace not throw a temper tantrum.

all i hope is that newjeans does not suffer from this and that even if they don't, people won't get mad at illit for existing in some weird stan mind warp mentality. its not the groups' fault their companies are like this.

the worst thing mcas has done is that randomly it'll make me react to water. WATER. NOTHING IN IT JUST PLAIN FILTERED OR TAP WATER. i can't eat or drink anything else until the reaction's passed because it'll just react to whatever that is and i'll end up wretching. which is bad because i physically can't throw up (had a fundoplication when i was 4 to stop GERD) so there's a lot of pain.

To summarize: 1. Get uBlock Origin and make sure it's updated to the latest version. 2. Click on the gear icon to get to the dashboard, go to "Filter lists", and make sure that "uBlock filters - Quick fixes" is up to date

things i think about regarding the amazing digital circus after watching too many times:

i wanna know more about gangle first. did they ever have a working comedy mask? did they use it to mask the freaking out that they probably did in the beginning? Did it start to break around kaufmo and his jokes when they just couldn't laugh anymore???? and yes i see gangle as nonbinary its not like. . . i don't its just what first came to me.

pomni leaving ragatha makes me happy actually. if she'd stayed who knows what would've happened. i think it's really smart of pomni to have left since it de-escalated the situation with kaufmo to some small degree that was enough time for things to progress in a better manner. not every hero has to run head first into danger without any thought for safety and self preservation.

jax. . . i love him but at the same time the more i watch the less i love him. following the theory that all the characters are human outside this world they plugged into via the headset - as well as following saberspark's theory that they're all programmers that are now being tormented by caine (an AI) in a 'i have no mouth and i must scream' type scenario - jax seems like he'd be a real douche in the real world. though maybe that persona came about from being stuck in the circus?

now for my own theory partially taking inspiration from saberspark's theory: the group of once humans perhaps were a development team for a game or an app - probably a VR game of some sort considering the headset - and ended up being a very dysfunctional group that didn't work together at all. the ai part of their creation (caine) sees this in their code not working and decided to pull them all into this world to make them work together. but what if he then got a bit power hungry? the humans have to bend to his will now! so that exit that he started to help them once they figured their shit out is just never gonna be finished because then he'll have no power if they leave. they might even kill him! they can all just keep having adventures filled with fun and dread and horror and whatever other emotions he wants them to have.

where pomni's gonna fit into that? well obviously she's not gonna give up on escaping. though maybe she will give up and that'll be that. i think i'd enjoy that tbh. let's just succumb to madness in this zany place.

shout out to those of us chronically ill people who have stacks of rare diagnoses that took years or decades to dx. Shout out. to those of us in those categories who had earlier diagnoses questioned because of our other, at this point undiagnosed, rare illnesses.

To have a doctor look at something very concrete and telling of a certain diagnosis (for me, it was a muscle biopsy that showed a very obvious mitochondrial cytopathy) and go 'nah i don't think its actually this thing we have evidence of' because you also have another completely unrelated rare illness is gross and inexcusable.

If you are in this situation, i pray that things prevail for you. Remember that you know your body far better than any medical professional ever will, and that no matter what they say, you're not crazy for having inexplicable symptoms.

to deny the idea that someone can be doubly sick with three or more different rare illnesses when we know so little about genetics and all the different ways the human body can screw itself over is extremely and without a doubt idiotic. we all deserve better.

i think i'm starting to feel how some people feel about taylor swift's music. Not about her music (don't get me wrong i enjoy it its just not the art that many people make it out to be, not for me.) but about laufey's music.

i haven't transcended like this listening to an album in. . . eh about ten years actually? before now it was lindsey stirling's shatter me album. so ten years give or take. but bewitched is doing it for me. i can't describe it further. it's just right.

i know better than to put it in my sleeping playlist because then that magic will go away overnight and i don't want it to. but its all i want to listen to? good lord this album is gonna be the death of me.
