So... I'm really into self inserts... since you are the chronos expert... do you think chronos would ever take a mortal lover? If I'm honest with myself, I think "lover" would be a generous term, since chronos would never see any mortal like an equal. So their relationship would be more like... master/subject or even master/pet...

Idk I wanted to hear others opinions on thos and I thought asking u directly about it might be fun, hope u don't mind :V

I myself have a self-insert for Chronos, and he is in fact a subject of Time. The silly version is that I love to imagine Chronos, as the old man he is, to have a crush in the way that makes him flustered all the time because that's funny and cute.

NOW THE VERY CANON VERSION

It would probably be like the way Demeter saw the farmer, I'm p sure this is an interaction in Hades II, she says she doesn't know if she loved him or pitied him.

Chronos would be in a bit of a similar position, finding out a mortal has fallen for him would amuse him on the spot and y'know, that would be a very loyal subject. Being Time itself, if he ever were to develop a sort of closer attachment it would be later, and that's if he ever does. In his immortal eyes, a mortal lives for barely a blink of an eye, if you want to make him see you, you're gonna have to leave an impression. I think if you manage to, he'll definitely look at you a bit more than just some mortal, not as an equal exactly but definitely a bit better than just some mortal.

Yeah it would be angsty. He does see mortals a bit better than a God might, so the whole ordeal wouldn't be master/pet, but he's still an immortal being, your life is way too fleeting and he might not even recognize you as a Shade once your mortal life reaches its end.

Master/subject is a bit closer, and if you show yourself very useful for his cause he'd see you as an asset worth of keeping close so, he'd have you a "high rank" and visit you for intel, hell maybe to check on you too even if he doesn't know why he wants to just check on you yet. And like Demeter once you're gone, maybe he'd start wondering if maybe he cared more than he meant to. They hardly truly realize how short our lives are until they start caring. The true bane of a love between mortal and immortal is how neither have the same amount of time on their hands.
