instead, he has teams. groups. go-to people for special occasions

very football of him, but old habits die hard

a group of people to call for celebratory dinners

a group of people to play cards with

a team of employees to talk to in the lunch room

his network of acquaintances is so categorized that when Thomas comes and bulldozes over his entire system, he still manages to pick up the pieces

a couple that he knows he can always get discounted flowers from

a group of friends that are nearly always ready to facetime and help him with his eyeliner

particular employees that seem to always show up to company outings dressed very sharply that he might be able to ask for some advice

his English tutor knows an English tutor who knows a barber who does magic with hair

and then there is Thomas who mostly just leeches time he should be spending on working or catching up on studying, eats his food, leaves painful bruises on his hips and shoulders, and takes up far too much mental space than what is justified by the benefits he brings to Minho's carefully calculated social network

Minho going from "these are the pros/cons of these particular people" to "would thomas love me if i was a worm"

minho wakes up the next day and finds thomas in the bathroom, gripping the kitchen knife and in tears

"I don't know what happened, there- there was just this wolf, and it licked me, and I thought I was going to die- I don't even know- How did it get in here!?"

minho can only vaguely remember nuzzling against something warm and whimpering for a cuddle
