Still kinda stunned that this fic is already at its halfway point. Feels like just yesterday that I was tearing my hair out over writing this very chapter.

The next day, when the Guild went into the mines, the first few floors they traversed weren’t the least bit overwhelming. Some nooks seemed suspiciously empty, even: no lava bat eyes peering down from jagged perches, no slimes bouncing through and leaving trails along the floor. Marlon was relieved that things were starting off easily. George, for some reason, was annoyed. “Doesn’t seem like the spirits are any angrier to me,” he grumbled to anyone who might be listening. “I tried to tell all of you that the wizard’s a joke.” Marlon was in no position to take the bait and join that argument. He had much more pressing matters on his mind.

Her sweet lips trembled as fresh tears welled in her eyes. “You’re such an asshole,” Doc finally whispered. Shane smirked, reaching up and using the back of his finger to catch the tear that escaped. “Yeah, well, if you wanted pretty words, you should’ve wept around Sterling,” he half-joked. “They’re pretty enough. They came from you, and you meant them,” she said softly. “That’s what makes you an asshole. You’re supposed to fight with me,” she added with a huff of almost-laughter. “That’s girl logic if I’ve ever heard it,” he snarked. His hands had a mind of their own, delicately caressing her features as her tears slowed: temple, cheek, nose, jaw, lips. “Oh, fuck off,” she muttered, face growing ever redder as his fingers traced over her surprisingly soft skin, stirring a horrible desire within him. “What right do you have to be sweet?” “I can be sweet. It’s possible,” he said. It didn’t come out nearly as sarcastic as he wanted it to, not with the way she looked at him just then. “Don’t hurt yourself, big guy,” she said, only to have her breath catch as he teased her bottom lip with his thumbnail. Mouth quirking at the corner, he asked, “Why not, when I have a Doc right here?” She didn’t stop him as the hand at her jaw slid into her hair. She didn’t push him away as he leaned in closer. She met him halfway, fingernails scraping along his stubble as each tried to devour the other.

In the first chapter of Do No Harm, I have a throwaway line from Sterling about how he’d learned the hard way not to haul an injured Shane home on his motorcycle.

Fun Fact about yourself? I have a talent for baking, been doing it since high school. I even made 200 galaxy-themed cupcakes once.

How long have you been writing fanfiction? I’ve been writing fanfics since 2017, so that’s 8 years now. Back then, I mostly wrote for other fandoms. Yes, I’m a multifandom gal. I write anything from one-shots to long chapter fanfics, and sometimes I turn ideas into skits or incorrect quotes.

Favourite SDV character to write? Oooh, this is a tough one! I usually shuffle between writing the vanilla NPCs and the modded ones, it’s like giving everyone equal love. But if I had to choose, for the vanilla game, I mostly write Sebastian because he’s my hubby! For expansion mods like SVE or RSV, it would definitely be Lance and Jio.

Favourite tropes/genre to write? Romance, humor, and adventure are my go-to’s. I love mixing playful banter with heartfelt moments, weaving in just enough drama or angst to give the story weight. Found family dynamics and slow-burn relationships are my weakness, and I enjoy adding action or high-stakes situations that bring characters closer together.

Your most popular SDV fanfic? Like I mentioned, I mostly write one-shots or longer stories that are around 30 chapters. After checking all my SDV works and tallying their popularity, my most popular one is actually posted here on Tumblr, not on AO3. It’s Beyond the Memories, a Sebastian X OC story where Sebastian finds himself lost in memories of his time with the farmer. The experience is both nostalgic and bittersweet.

Your SDV underdog fic you wish more people would give a chance? I recently posted a new fanfic called, The Foxbloom Fiasco. It’s about my two farmers, where one of them makes a delectable treat that unknowingly sets off a frenzy among magical guilds, the Ministry, and adventurers who believe the Foxbloom can heal any wound or curse. I know I have a lot of SDV fics, but I’d love it if you gave this one a read.

Hear me out: The real reason the farm animals never leave the barn is because they’re secretly running their own underground society, complete with conspiracies, rivalries, and midnight snack parties.

Lastly, any other fandoms you write for? I’ve written fanfics for different fandoms like TMNT, Countryhumans or Undertale but I’ve mostly stepped back from those and left some unfinished stories on my other platforms. Right now, I’m focusing mainly on Stardew Valley and Fields of Mistria. One of my stories in Fields of Mistria, Caldarus’s Accidental Guide to Wooing a Farmer, has been surprisingly well received, which really means a lot to me. I’m grateful for every kudos and reader who’s enjoyed it.

Excerpt: Sterling grabbed a cue and began chalking up the tip, blowing on it gently to remove the excess chalk dust. He caught Sam's eye and gave him a wink. "You've got to make sure you take good care of the tip," he drawled as he tossed the chalk in Sam's direction. "You don't want it to be too slippery when it makes contact with the balls."
