Last Christmas, my spouse got me a 3DS and a copy of New Leaf, because I'd never played it before. Overall I definitely prefer New Horizons, but it's been interesting learning new-to-me Animal Crossing lore.

Today is my first Bug Off with Nat. He has so far been unimpressed with everything I've brought him, including the peacock butterfly that put me in first place. So I guess it's reassuring to know that having depicted him as being nitpicky and overly critical in my fics is actually kinda canon.

Also for the Bug Off today, I wore my most Flick-like outfit, just to be a little shit, even though Flick doesn't exist in this universe.
