ASK YOURSELF

who is there for you ?

Who can you count on when you're all alone and you have is your thoughts ?

Can you find someone trustworthy enough to share your vulnerability with them ?

If yes , do they deserve your trust ?

What if you're trust is broken by that one person who you deemed, won't ever break it ?

Will you be able to gather yourself up , keep your heads up ?

Are you receiving back the love , the care, the embrace, you're putting it out for those you care about ?

Most importantly do they care about you ?

Are they worth your precious time ? Or you think you're gonna live forever for time is of immense abundance to you ? Huh! So you can waste it any way you choose.

When's the last time you did what you set out to do ? Did you do it ? Did you gave it up ?

Do you respect yourself , love yourself enough to just take that one step which would make you feel better about yourself that you sleep peacefully knowing you actually done something you wanted in a long while ?

OR

Are you still comfortable sulking, loathing complaining about whatever it is that's going on with you ? ; as it is now saying there's nothing you can do about it.

Please don't be the way you are, if it doesn't makes you happy, Man !! just do the things that matter to you. Things that makes you feel fucking good about yourself,

N you can finally say to those beloved assholes around you

Life ruined or Life revival

What do you realize when you have one of those days where you evaluate yourself of the man you were and what you've become. The values you once had that you were so proud of how you were raised . Thoughts, opinions, ideologies that made you feel you are a good person. Now you feel after you've grown mature enough, you got responsibilities on your shoulders and you wonder that you were not the man how you were before. Once a free thinker now a corrupt, exploited individual just like the rest of them. You can't even look yourself in the mirror to what you've become. And you analyze what do you want of this life.

Is it money , fame , power , love , family ?

But in reality none of that matters if you aren't HAPPY. I feel I haven't been happy in a long time. Sometimes I feel like running away from all of it. But being a man responsibilities don't allow you to. If you think of yourself for one second you are deemed selfish, but what if you're not a hypocrite . What if you value words, you know the impact words can lay. The destruction it can create. What if you aren't surrounded by people like you ,not one.

The truth a man is important to his family as long as he acts according to their needs. Free bird is just a song. I wish I was one.

Certain Situations and a right person can make you even better than you could ever imagine you could be. However some of us are picked for a life of setbacks, miseries, troubles. And you ask yourself Do I deserve this? What if you feel you're married to a wrong person, where your thoughts do not match, you aren't compatible ,you don't feel being in love anymore. After all it's the little things that you do that makes you fall for that person. I feel It's essential to fall in love everyday with that person. If you're not ,that ain't love. After all it's the small gestures that often creates those big impacts. How to live with such person if you can't leave them, cause you know they love you but they don't know love is 2 way street. It's not always what a woman want. If you're married to an over thinker guy who just had an inbuilt attitude of looking for solutions and you're a woman who just want them to listen n not do anything about it. How's that supposed to work. He's been this way all his life . Everybody loves a problem solver but I guess some people don't realize the importance of their paramour. They just treat them according to their mood, their wishes, apologize whenever & think that they can make it alright as if the damage they've caused can be reversed. But life ain't that simple. The problem with old school overthinkers are that once they've made up their mind , it's impossible to change it. They are immensely patient ,when the time comes they will do what they deem, ain't nothing you can do about it.

Man!! You become cold hearted, things die inside you, They don't die, you kill it. And it's those things, those qualities you admired about yourself. Now it's deeply buried in you & you don't wanna summon the courage to look for it anymore. Even if you do, you look for excuses, moreover laziness is your one true real enemy. It has killed more dreams because being ccimfortable with what you got is the worst attitude you can possess . Laziness and comfort, those are real demons of our mind.

Well!! What to do the next day. What should be thy attitude. How can you forget the terrible things of yesterday about yourself, these are the real questions we should ask ourselves everyday. How to live with that one person you don't want to ,until you've made that one decision regarding that one person. Where should all your energies be focused towards for every minute of everyday?

And you know what you already have the answer, you're just afraid or unwilling to act on it , n you know it's the best for you.

Still you don't!

Cinderella Man 2005

One of the less famous & perhaps the most underrated movie of the great actor Russell Crowe.

This should be among one of the greatest sports films ever made considering it’s a real life narrative of the courageous Jim Braddock . There’s nothing fairy tale about it, there’s no fiction despite the title.

A man’s ups & downs ,long struggles during the worst phase of the world’s economy - The era of great depression 1930s . BTW they shouldn’t call it GREAT, there was nothing great about that time. Just worsening struggles of middle class & again filthy rich fuckers - The capitalists were at their class A villainy finding new ways to make money out of a guy’s misery,kicking him when he’s down, a time when man walked miles just to make ends meet , just to provide food on the plate (MILK)

Not being able to feed milk to his kids, that was the biggest motivational tool for the bulldog of Bergen, the pride of new jersey JAMES J BRADDOCK, n I will tell it you with a post just on milk only as to why it was crucial in this movie for Jim , his mindset of this petty beverage ,the importance of it. but more on that later.

What to say about JOE GOULD, I’ll tell you where blood relation fails, friendship thrives . A simple opportunity that Joe provided Jim putting whatever Joe had on stake for Jim thereby giving him second chance. Both the guys fate depended on that second chance. An opportunity to change their lives forever with Jim’s drive for providing a better life for his family to Joe’s working his way out creating a path for Jim with his exceptional communicational skills , you just can’t say no to Joe and they couldn’t.

My love for period movies is next level as you get to know life in truest sense. A reminder of a much simpler time. A time of more interpersonal attention plus I just love to see how little day to day things were done in those days.

While Watching this movie you will dissolve n fucking drown in emotions gonna fucking shout ecstatically every fucking time jim lands that one punch that changes the fate of the match in his favor and you’re gonna cry too &believe this ain’t no fairy tale .

Just a man driven for his family.

You don't have to hit people,not if you make them laugh - Francis Lionel (Lion) Delbucci. How can you not fall in love with this character. Man!! Al Pacino really is a master of his art, Hands down 🙏 Hands joined. You will see the little things lion does in the movie ,his mannerisms ; his way of doing things, treating people. You immediately develop a soft corner for lion at the beginning of the movie the first time you see his face (AT THE FIRST SCENE itself, I kid you not. If you guys ever watch this masterpiece let me know if you feel any differently). As the movie goes you Max judges lion at times of his perceptions to certain aspects of day to day life , pokes fun at his insights, his thoughts . But hey I guess that's what big brother's do, it's their way of protecting us from this fucking cynical world. Watching this masterclass you'd wish n you'd ask yourself - Won't this world'll be a better place if most of us were like lion ,a world where nobody needs to act tough but you have to OR the people will walk all over you, I mean why do you need to instigate fear in other's hearts to survive , this constant fear of being tough just to survive hardly seems like living , won't you say? Moreover You lose yourself in the process, you lose your interests, your dreams, things you love. Well Food for thought ,eh ? Wonder! Just being yourself ,everybody minding their own business. People being more friendly like lion, where we don't need a protective max, not being afraid all the time, just doing what we love all the damn time. You know what we want is just to BE HAPPY. I just can not believe its the same guy who played Michael Corleone in The GODFATHER 1972 just a year ago. And Hackman in The FRENCH CONNECTION 1971 . Al Pacino and Gene Hackman in Scarecrow (1973)

In my opinion one of the most beautiful performance of Al Pacino and perhaps best . His sweet innocent portrayal of Francis Lionel delbucci (Lion) bounds you to the film .Lion is a guy who is soft hearted, funny, carefree with simple ideologies to life.Gene Hackman aka Max on the other hand is a guy who is tough ,ill tempered ,cold Blooded(literally) I mean he wear layers man like a hell Lotta layers of clothes , trusts nobody ; yet he became friends with lion by a just a small gesture of the latter which makes him trust him (lion) . You know Good Friends can be found in strange places ,in fact great friends , this movie proves, would make you a believer again, would wanna make you give yourself a try , a try to trust again,let your guard down, for there is some really good guys out there!! You just gotta trust your heart, follow it’s instincts, for not all around you is bad(even though much is) Such good friends they become . I mean they just met ,their vibes matched and the next thing you see they’re business partners talking money n shit n making travel plans, sorting things on the way . Remember the famous quote of Jerry MaGuire “ you complete me ”. Well It fits here perfectly in the movie released 23 years earlier than MaGuire .Both guys are different,n they just click. Lion respected max enough to know that he’s rigid in & out, put up with his temper,his fights even though they just met . And Max is like a strong big brother who even though makes fun of lion’s theories, maybe feels lion’s right , the positive attitude he carries with himself & spread joy wherever he goes with his contagious smile and humor maybe max needs it.. Everytime I watch this film it elevates my mood, makes me forget of the life’s troubles .as if every shit that you’ve been through, whatever phase of life has been going on is just not there at least for the time being. It makes you reevaluate your perspective of seeing things; you wonder as if it is this easy to find true friends, Maybe we’re taking it all too seriously and it’s not all that bad,you see. N you will .
