So this embarrassing thing happened today at work-

I was away from my laptop for a couple of minutes and it was locked as usual when I got back. I typed in my password to unlock it and continue working. What my stupid brain did not notice was that the laptop was unlocked already and it opened up to the chat screen of my boss and I typed in my password in the chat window and sent it to him!! I realised this after a whole 2 minutes and deleted the message.

Why is my brain so stupid and how can I not see where I was typing stuff and sending it!

I think I have developed scrolling Instagram mindlessly as a distraction from thinking. My mind is constantly active with a lot of thoughts (intrusive and imaginary hurtful situations mostly) and I want them to stop and I end up resorting to Instagram.

Anyone else in the same boat and any useful distractions that I can resort to? 😅
