Day 12: Your OC seeing their younger selves

Aiko grew up without seeing sunlight, which is why she is much thinner and more fragile than most people, her mother kept her locked in a basement for a long time, providing her only with what she needed to survive. She was bound by heavy chains on her hands, feet and neck.

Aiko was too young to understand her nature and her mother never wanted to explain it to her, instead she began to treat her like a monster and made sure that no one ever saw her again but her.

This was my request fill for the One Piece Fanwork Exchange back in April that I posted on AO3. The zosan prompt was "two pining idiots"

I've been debating for months whether to post it on tumblr since long vertical comics often don't look good in the thumbnails, still not sure I'm too happy with that bit.

Aiko loves the snow, she really likes the last months of the year because it's cold and she can spend more time with Yagmi, because in winter she doesn't have as much work, plus she loves baking cookies and drinking hot cocoa!

She is Tsuki, I created her as my self-insert in Naruto, she was one of the first ocs I created, she likes plants and has a crush on Gaara

Today I didn't feel like drawing, without a doubt one of the most difficult things about this challenge has been drawing every day, normally I use small bursts of motivation to draw and it takes a while until I have that motivation again so the space between one drawing and another is usually large.

However, my goal is to draw (even if it's not that elaborate drawings) every day, even if I don't like the result that much, even if I don't feel like it's my best drawing, but I'll do it :D

Day 4: The first design of a current OC

I created Aiko in the middle of the pandemic, when I was starting to draw, I created her as a self-insert for Bungou Stray Dogs, an anime that I liked so much, to the point of wanting to make a character to imagine stories and have fun in the midst of the chaos that was there at the time.

Aiko's design has changed over the years but it still has its essence, I love you Aiko
