brainstorming chapter two now to the beginning, i thinking it will be from Johnny’s pov after what Shalla says and then it will also be featuring Shalla’s first ever Sunday family dinner with the fam!

okay can we talk about the marketing for f4 and johnny?! like all his marketing brand is based on him being a bachelor and related to heat/fire things.

what would shalla-bal’s marketing strategy be like? honestly, i can see her not wanting to join the fantastic four to become the “fantastic five.” she wouldn’t want to ruin what they have already, despite her eventually being accepted into the family. she would also be a very private person as she is getting used to living on earth, so she would be hidden from the spotlight or any major events for the f4 for awhile.

my personal headcanon, she would aid the f4 and johnny by helping them find a way to get rid of galactus permanently. but also, i would like to think she would go back into astronomy and science, work with reed on science experiments, help sue with taking care of franklin, spending time with johnny and such.

when shalla-bal is ready for the world to get to know her and explore more to her life, i’d think she would do magazine photo shoots and interviews but very rarely. johnny would relish with great surprise when he sees shalla-bal on a magazine cover, something HE would normally do and freak out seeing her all glamorous and loving how her eyes are so attractive on the cover.

shalla-bal at this point into their relationship with him would be the popular opposite of him, she’s humble and grounded, she is naturally a private person and always puts work first with being a scientist/astronomer, but… she is open to surprising everyone, especially johnny with going out of her comfort zone with marketing/interviews.

(if johnny found out that there may be a fan club for shalla-bal after it is revealed she lives with them, johnny would be like NO BOYS SHE IS WITH ME!)

low-key I would see her ask Johnny innocently “why would i need this when i have you right here? I see you everyday” and Johnny is just… taken back and shocked she said that to him. like his girl just said I don’t need this print, I have you. And Johnny is just so over the moon and grinning to himself, his ego wasn’t fed, it was his heart being filled with love.

ofc she would keep one in secret. have it as a bookmark in the books she read to always see his goofy face 🤭

I think Shalla would humble Johnny so quickly 😭 She is NOT entertaining his little ego-spiels. He shows her the prints people hang up in there rooms of him ad she's just like.... Why do you look like a confused child in this one. Why would people want to look at this. Is this supposed to look good? Why didn't you at least try to look nice? And Johnny's like. Man. 😞

(she keeps the little print he showed her. it's her secret. and if she looks at it sometimes, smiling at his stupid expression, that's not for him to know.)

some headcanons because johnny and shalla-bal live rent free in my mind

johnny tried getting her coffee in the morning (like how reed makes sue coffee in the morning. johnny pays attention!!!) she didn’t like the taste of it. found out she is into tea, especially herbal tea.

shalla-bal, after gaining her humanity and free from Galactus, eats human food. she finds out she dislikes sour foods, she enjoys sweets, LOVES spicy foods.

Johnny takes her to the beach, there she cries thinking of daughter and opens up to Johnny about why she would also look out to the ocean view from Baxter Building.

At night, Shalla-Bal would sit out on the balcony at night to stargaze. Johnny would join her and they would sit in silence. Eventually, Johnny would build a telescope to give to her to look at the stars and have a better view.

Shalla-Bal may be a quiet person now, but she doesn’t mind Johnny’s chattering. It fills the silence she has always lingered.

another 60s look i think Shalla-Bal would wear as well. a bit artistic, a bit of flair for the 60s, but Shalla-Bal is technically an alien on Earth, so she would rock anything that is “alternative” or different from the Fantastic Four branding style.

johny would absolutely also love this iconic look as well 🔥
