I’ve came to the conclusion that sometimes one doesn’t want to be with you not because they don’t want to, but because they simply can’t. Some people need to get stuff done for themselves by themselves, and even though we may want to help, there are times when they’re the only ones capable of. Once we understand it, we accept it and we know that’s love. There may be only one thing left: Let go or keep waiting for a change.

Yesterday it was a girl night, while grabbing some coffee a friend of mine told us about some personal issues she’s been through and we were there for her. In fact, this post is about something I realized. It’s too easy for us, the strangers to those problems to actually say “go on with your life and get over it”, but it’s not until it happens to us that we realize it’s hard. It’s hard to let go something you’ve been used to for a long time and something you think belongs to you. It’s hard to accept when you’re head over heels for someone, but that person ain’t for you. There we go as friends, we let know our loved ones when they’re taking for granted their future and we offer them support just so they let life bring something better for them. Also, we forget to actually take those advices for ourselves, because I repeat, it is hard. Everyone should know we’re free to do what we feel like, even if we don’t know limits, but deep inside we know what’s best for us. I just wish for my loved ones and for myself to value ourselves and act when we should, wether we should leave or try one more time.
