I might be reading way too much into it because I’m on my period, but I do genuinely love how normal Phil is about periods, even if it is in a joking matter. Cis men are still so weird about periods and cis gay men often make “ew vagina gross” jokes that are really hurtful to people with vaginas. And it’s so cool to see a large gay, cis male creator be like ‘yeah vaginas bleed for a week once a month. Sometimes it makes the person’s belly hurt. And fucking what about it??’ Idk, even though it is a joke, it’s a joke about Phil often talking about periods or protecting fans from periods; it is not a joke about periods being gross or weird or how it makes girls angry, which is how most cis men talk about periods the few times they do talk about it. Idk, just is nice to see a cis (gay) male be so normal about periods when it’s still such a taboo subject for everyone, especially cis men.

But really the shonen anime protagonist-esque pseudo-grand speeches about the player being sooo awesome at fights and only showing mercy because they "chose to" talking about how the Knight (again, being downplayed, because it's gonna be a woman) is not even prepared for the player's righteous wrath and whatnot are so cope like what are you all talking about you did NOT win that fight can anyone hear me what is happening was anyone else there??
