It is very difficult for me to live knowing that I am terminally ill and that my life span is very short. Life with cystic fibrosis is always a lottery: one day you feel fine, and the next day you have a high fever, shortness of breath, cough with lots of pusy sputum. And you never know when you're going to feel bad again, when you need to take more medication to survive, even though there's already a huge amount of it in a stable condition. You get tired of literally everything. You find it hard to go outside, it's hard to talk to people, it's hard to get an inhalation or an IV, even just taking a pill is an ordeal. You will never come out of this pit victorious. Cystic fibrosis will take everyone, it doesn't care about your plans, dreams or anything else. Life isn't fair. But are we to judge it, because we all know what the end is. Some are just lucky enough to live a long and happy life and die completely satisfied with old age, while others will die at a young age as a result of a terrible illness, never having had time to do everything they dreamed of. Although there is always the possibility that a brick will fall on our heads, in such a situation the risk of dying from cystic fibrosis, or rather from its complications, is very high, and it is very painful to realize...

🌸Hello, my name is Stephanie Liberman. I'm soon to be 18 years old. I have cystic fibrosis, diabetes, gastroparesis and many others. I want to show by my own example, that disability is not a barrier to the fulfillment of goals and desires. First of all, I want to prove it to myself, as strange as it may sound. I also have depressive episode and obsessive-compulsive disorder, I am trying to go into in remission for more than 5 years and hope that I will succeed.
