Lately I have to whisper-talk my baby to sleep. I tell her she had a big day and now she gets to just relax and let go and close her eyes and let her mind drift, while I rock her hips as she’s lying down, and then after 30 seconds or so she just stops crying and closes her eyes. Sometimes I start counting down from 99 very slowly and quietly and rhythmically. I should make a sleep podcast lol.
Ironically I am a huge insomniac. Maybe I should try telling myself to sleep like that.
#it’s also like. way too early for bedtime and too late for a nap. shit sucks lol. but she needed to sleep she was a mess.#we’ll see how the fuck the night goes#don’t think she’s eaten enough for the day either. poor baby has bad reflux.

Include nonprofessional productions, like community theater or school plays. This is asking only about seeing them live– do not include times you've watched recordings of plays/musicals. DO include shows you've seen multiple times. For any productions you were involved in (as cast/crew/etc), use your own judgement to decide if that counts.
If you don't know the exact number, just make your best estimate.

#voted 50-99#started losing count somewhere in the 30s but I know it’s up there#I was a theater kid since age 6 so. the school and community plays add up to quite a lot#acted and did crew in high school and went to one-act festivals at that time plus community theater#watched several of the plays my college put on#saw friends’ plays and siblings’ and niblings’#and then I have seen a good handful of professional and semi-professional. maybe around dozen?#or actually maybe closer to 20#idk but it probably all adds up to close to 100. I doubt more than that?#polls#cannot really imagine having only seen 4 or under???

“You gave the Lions of England back to me, like a little boy who doesn't want to play anymore. I would've gone to war—with all England's might behind me, and even against England's interests—to defend you, Thomas. I would've given away my life laughingly for you. Only I loved you, and you didn't love me: that's the difference. Stay away! But thank you for this last gift, as you desert me. Now I shall learn to be alone.”
— Becket (1964) || The Prince of Egypt (1998)
#true true…#I fee that the relationship in becket is sexually charged in a way that the prince of egypt one is not#but then it has been a very long time since I watched the latter#regardless. a striking parallel!#lol#becket#prince of egypt

knowledge long forgotten
got really into reading item descriptions on this playthrough. anyway did you know the silent princess is one of the only raw materials with a cooking effect to not explicitly list that effect in its description
