JD Vance is headed to the capital building so it appears that Republicans now have the votes to pass Trump's disgusting bill. Not sure what deals were made and carveouts were added to flip Collins and/or Murkowski, but it appears that the next vote is expected to be a 50/50 tie or a 51/49 Republican win.

Its just shocking to me that Republicans will literally let people die in order to cut taxes for the richest people in the country. But here we are.

I attended the 1975 Star Trek convention in New York City. Actor Robert Lansing revealed that all conversations with his "cat", Isis, on the Saturn V rocket gantry were make up by him on the spot. Stage direction was to just talk; the cat 'meow' was added later.

As I recall, in the *original* plot line screenplay, paranormal investgator John Spectre, was himself a ghost!

This really helped him chase after ghosts, since John could also run right through walls.

He also understood paranormal mythos, since he had similar motivations for action.

This plot line was not in the TV pilot.

But the idea was sort of used in the last Ghostbusters movie, where Egon kept fighting evil spirits, even after he died.
