So the purpose of this meme is to give a little info on your muses without having to rely on others to fill your ask with meme questions. I know how disappointing it can be to come back to an empty ask so I wanted to create a meme that anyone and everyone can do (mun and muse).

The rules are simple, you do not need to be tagged to fill out the questions, but once you have you must reblog and tag 10 of your followers to spread the love (as well as add a question of your own to the bonus section). You can fill it out as many times as your heart desires (we all know muses can change with their character development.)

1. What is your favorite word?:

“There are many that come to mind. . . wisdom is one of them.”

2. What is your least favorite word?:

“Brutality.”

“In-depth conversations, I suppose.”

“Ignorance, aggression.”

“Rain, as haunting and empty as it can be.”

“Vocalised agony, in any form.”

“I don’t curse, perhaps it would be best to ask Levi for a more creative answer.”

8. What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?: 

“If I had the opportunity, I would teach.”

“You would be surprised if I told you.”

10. If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God(s) say when you arrive at the pearly gates?:

“. . . I can’t bring myself to entertain this hypothetical. I’m sorry.”

1. Something most people don’t know about you?:

“When I was young, I didn’t like catching my reflection in the mirror. I suppose all the joking about my eyebrows bothered me deep down-- sometimes people wouldn’t take me seriously for it and it could be frustrating. I grew out of it when my peers matured.”

2. If you were one of the seven sins which would you be?: 

“. . . I don’t quite know, from what I’m aware of the definitions, I don’t really find myself extreme enough to suit any of them. I’m. . . surprised at this.”

3. Sexual Preference?

“Do you often ask people this so boldly?”

4. What position do you sleep in?:

“Sleeping on my back helps me, I find.”

5. What if someone told you…you HAD to lose, just this one time?

“It would depend. A game, I will forfeit. A battle, I do not see myself being alive to surrender. If loss led to victory. . . then I will take it.”

6. If you were a mythical creature which one would you be? 

“I don’t know, perhaps one of those ones humans never see, one that lives far from where it can be found. I enjoyed reading about those most as a child, I felt. . . understanding.”

7. If you could live in any sort of environment (with your choice of inhabitants, climate, etc.), what would it be? Describe it.

“A place that is calm and quiet, a sleepy little town. The cold isn’t too harsh and the warmth is pleasant. People would spend their time researching and sharing knowledge without prosecution, there would be respect among neighbours and while human suffering remains, people would support each other as best they can. All within a world that held no walls or titans. Yes. . . truly a dream.”

8. If you could gain one super power (that you don’t already have), what would you want it to be?

“I have entertained the idea of what they call ‘telepathy’ . . . but then I remember this world for what it is. I would not like to know what is on people’s minds, not more than I already know. I would rather be myself than choose a power.”

9. If you had the choice between dying to save someone you love, or live on knowing you didn’t save them, which would you choose? 

“From where I currently stand, I cannot afford to do the former. I suppose that answers your question.”

10. If you had the money or confidence to wear whatever you wanted, what would you wear?

“I don’t like to overdo it and I tend to think I’m fairly simple, what I wear outside my uniform is fine enough for me. Money should be spent more wisely.”

“. . .I know.” To that, there is a soft smile and no apology for his impression. He knows he is a heavy weight for others to bare when in his presence, when stripped back to his bare bones. It was this alone that showed how much he values Levi as a friend—this was something no one else knew. They may wonder what had happened, how he felt, but they would always be subject to the same routine. Levi, he was familiar enough to know.

“If I may be honest. . . I think it’s best to think like that. One would think when faced with the threat of extinction, men could learn to work together or unite to some extent, but. . .”

He looks downward, sparing a moment of silence for thought, the right words to say. A soft sigh leaves his lips before he glances upward again. “. . .never in my life have I felt this much like the enemy. Even when I gave them truths, I was not believed.”

His reward for truths were fists, demands he admit something damning or change his story. They’d grown frustrated, unable to make him budge, unable to instil fear or panic in this man—a man so detached from his captors that he only spoke when spoken to, eyes often absent due to his pain and dwelling in the past. Any pain would not be enough to amount what he imagines his father went through.

“And that is where my disappointment lies; I trust central to have a degree of perception, enough to know whether I was telling the truth or not and I believe they did, in fact, know. Yet. . . they hoped I would stand down from my view, confess something. A man forcing such things, I cannot find anything admirable about it. You have every reason to believe things in the manner you do, perhaps this would have all been easier had I seen it that way before.”

    “Sometimes, you’re so solemn it hurts.” He was one to talk but if a person knew him well enough, a morsel of amusement could be detected in his tone. 

    “I guess I won’t then. I’ve never had expectations; there’s no point in dreaming or doubting.” At one point there had been fiery passion and ambitions in him, it too fizzled away but not int he same light as the blond. Erwin was still driven by heart which Levi found hard to understand - a man to follow his mind more yet his own heart did still beat for inspiring words.

    No matter what he said, he would still worry over what had gone down there during the blond’s capture - his duty to protect their commander clearly failed and the frustration of this was unreal to Levi.

    But he did recognise something a miss here that prompted Levi not to make light of the situation any further. He knew what Erwin must’ve seen, monsters of men, and it was that sort of ordeal that could spark a fire within him, especially knowing that they had treated Erwin so grotesquely, like an animal when he clearly was more man than any of them. The key to freedom definitely lay within him yet most around were so blind to his effort, as well as Levi’s. They were ignorant, possibly he couldn’t blame them but he would just in spite of everything they did. You could be uneducated but you could be good. Clearly, there were few humans left on this plane.

"What did you expect?"

meme: sadness saturday starters.

“I was told once; ‘have no expectations and you won’t be disappointed.’ Yet. . . I still find myself so. I expected better, once.”

“Ridiculous, I know, I still had to comply with their demands though, I had no other choice. But. . . I expected better-- not from the enemy, no. . . from people, overall. I suppose it’s hard to explain, either way. . . it’s no longer important. Please don’t concern yourself with it.”

It was the first time he’d spoken about these things since they’d happened-- since he’d been captive to the Military Police. It seemed Central were far more cruel than their ordinary, footmen counterparts. He’d expected it all, complying with them, knowing how they’d treated the man that had raised him-- yet something in his heart had been lost. He cared not for the physical pain he’d suffered, their abuse, but he had been witness to yet again, the darker face of humanity. The thought of it leaves him with a heavy heart. He closes his eyes and with a heavy sigh, remembers the memory of the blood he’d lost years ago. 

“I survived, that’s all that matters. The same couldn’t be said for many before me.”

“I know, I know. It will be over soon.” 

He shows a calmness the other currently lacks in both his manner of speech and body language, presenting reasoning in the place of impatience. He understands things must be gone over again and again, checked with a fine toothed comb, this is the system he’s adapted to since he was a young trainee, and moreso since his promotion years ago. So long as things turned out, he would play games by their rules. The blond would be in denial to claim these repetitive situations didn’t give him at least the slightest of migraines-- at the same time, the commander is blessed with a grace even he isn’t always sure how he manages to maintain around meetings.

“With patience. It’s no different from any other time, Levi. Bureaucracy isn’t designed to be painless, otherwise life would be a little easier for the both of us.”

「 ♚ 」— “Of course I am,” The smaller man retorts, granite hues slanting over on the danchou. “But I hate pointless subjects.”        To Levi, it was repeated topics they both had gone over and took the liberty to explain; only to have yet another meeting thrown upon them to discuss the same mindless shit over again. He won’t exactly dwell this time around – too tired for it.         “And you.. Might I ask how you’re handling this situation?”

[ So I’m finally doing up the blog and getting back on here, I’m sorry for my absence! I’m doing up icons/theme/pages in the meantime but consider me back! So much has happened since I last updated things, I’ve been incredibly slack!

+ unrelated to RP and old followers know all about this but I’ve pretty much managed to obtain all official Erwin merchandise released since 2013 at this point, bar things aren’t out yet. I'm pretty happy about that! ]

He watches silently, having expected such a reaction. To Erwin, meetings have become routine, no longer bothering him-- it was more Levi that noticed the complaints, nowadays, and complained in return. He had good reason, but dwelling on it, in the commander’s opinion, only made the situation worse. 

“I’m afraid it is as it’s always been, Levi.” He replies calmly, quietly. “I’m sure you’re used to the routine by now. Just let them have their say and they’ll be satisfied to a degree, you don’t have to take what they say on board. Not at all.”

「 ♚ 」— “Another meeting, huh? I really don’t want to hear pigs complain about taxes again..”      Levi murmurs beneath a sharp breath. Back turned and cranium bowed, only then does the corporal decide to raise thoughtful fingers to his chin. Eyes narrowed.       “Or is this one different?”

His eyes are hard for her to read. They seem tired, hardened from all the events he's witnessed throughout his life. They are wise, perhaps the wisest she's ever seen. They're also unreadable, so she can't see what he's thinking or planning, which has a tendency to cause a sense of unease to rise within her.

How would your muse describe my muse’s eyes.

Many share the same view as her. She is not alone.

"I dunno. Normally you can look at a person's face and eyes and kinda see what they're about. But when you look at the Commander ... I dunno. He looks like he's put all that stuff away -- all that stuff that makes it easy to see what a person's about. It's like lookin' in a mirror -- all you see is what he sees, not what he's thinkin'. It gives me the creeps, honestly."

He is more than content with such a description.
