♚--; Ah, London. A beautiful city to take a much deserved vacation in. It was her first time visiting the area; after all, you didn’t just gain hundreds of thousands of dollars in a day...

...oh wait, you did if you were her.

♚--; Giggling to herself quietly underneath her parasol, she’s not surprised when people stop to ask for a photograph of her, and she is all too happy to pose and revel in the attention.

♚--; Now, despite her seemingly endless wealth, Lissandra was no celebrity by any means. In fact, she preferred to lie low; the only way one would know of her would be through her gambler name, the oh so fitting ‘Snake Eyes’.

♚--; With skin like porcelain and lolita clothing, Lissandra pranced through the streets until eventually, night fell.

♚--; Unlike humans, she knew well how to spend her money. Yes, with this amount, she could live a life of luxury for as long as this worthless paper was deemed ‘useful’.

♚--; In the night, another figure approaches Lissandra though, and despite not wanting to be a celebrity, she still had the mindset of a diva. Unwilling to move from her spot, when the other also doesn’t move, the two collide and fall into a mess of brand-name shopping bags.

♚--; Hissing, red eyes glow bright in the darkness as they stare down the culprit. She wouldn’t turn them to stone just yet though; no, she would make them pay for even looking in her direction.

♚--; Before any words leave her mouth though, the stranger’s eyes slide over to where her tail is sprawled out, and where once was a scowl is now replaced with a murderous grin. Well, at least her murder would be justified now.

♚--; “Oh dear, oh dear: it seems you’ve seen something you shouldn’t have... I’ll have to silence you now, won’t I? Humans can never keep secrets for long, after all. Such a shame with a pretty face like yours, too...”

♚--; laying across a couch, lissandra is thankful for the tail space it gives her. having to hide it under a dress can become so stuffy at times, it was nice to just let it unravel and unfold freely. she was sure if her tail could speak, it would be hurling compliments at her--all ones she deserved, of course, but compliments nonetheless.

♚--; putting down the cup of tea the titan offered her, she dabs her mouth with a napkin before putting it down on the table, resting her head on her hand as the other lays on her side, caressing her scales.

♚--; “aren’t you a smart one: inviting me to your domain in order to gain my poison rather than try and fight me for it. our poison is most potent when alive, after all--but i’m sure you already knew that being the titan that you are, am i right, hecate? nothing in this world is free though, and especially not gorgon poison. how much are you willing to give, my dear?”

♚--; she feels it in the ways the trees rustle. light-footed steps take their place atop them, but her scales feel all. it slithers on the ground, concealed by her dress. the woods had never been kind to her, but she enjoyed taking strolls in them anyways.

♚--; ever the epitome of grace and elegance, she can feel the intent to kill from a mile away, and so she doesn’t bother looking at the other just yet. “our poison comes from our blood, and will only work if we are alive, dear.” there is no one else in the vicinity, the other must know this, and so despite their lack of eye contact, the conversation was clear. a demigod... oh, how delicious she smelled. “did artemis send another one of her dogs after me? there’s no point in hiding anymore. speak now.” she had the ability to control the powers sealed in her red irises, but there was no way the other would believe lissandra wouldn’t immediately petrify them, was there? an awkward conversation this would be, but speaking with a knife at her throat (so to speak) already made things odd.

 ✣ Aurelia needed to obtain the poison from a Gorgon, and after living and researching for so many years she’s finally found one. It took a while, albeit longer than she thought it would, but it was well worth the wait. She heard about their poison being very deadly, and as for one being immune to it, this was the perfect task for her. Since she would probably make a profit out of it, she’s really hoping to get more than one, but only if it isn’t too risky.

✣ She waited for the one that she needed, so she could counter-strike them. She knew that she’d be paralyzed if she wasn’t careful. She wasn’t sure if the other knew she was a demigod or not, but even so, Aurelia wasn’t quite certain on the exact consequences. Quickly and quietly, she steadied her bow, ready to aim and shoot at the upcoming opponent. When they’re in sight, she’ll use her weapon to attack. It’d only be a matter of time, and hopefully the other won’t notice her in the tree above them.

--She wasn’t rude enough to turn away guests, and while she had sought the help of Delilah to fill her in on what had happened while she was frozen in time, the confusion of turning her mansion into a maze was a very unwelcome change. Whether it was intentional or not, she didn’t know, but she decided not to bring it up.

--”Now, if you’ll enter my room--” where the door to her room laid was now a blank wall, but Lissandra was too busy looking back at Delilah and speaking to her to notice, and so she ran head first into the barrier. The impact sent her tumbling downwards, and her dress flew up, revealing the snake-like form that replaced what should have been legs down there.

--Releasing a huff of air, she stares at the other in annoyance. “Is it so odd for me to have a snake tail? I am a gorgon after all.”

--Not-so-accidentally using the power held within her eyes on the king of the gods, Lissandra temporarily stops applying makeup to her skin when she hears the rustling of bed sheets.

--He may not have been a gentleman, but she was an elegant and kind woman, so of course she wouldn’t have just left him there paralyzed for gods know who to do with him. Though, that didn’t sound like too bad of an idea either.. Zeus, rendered immobile, for anyone and anything to do what they pleased with him... Alas, it was too late for regret, and so she turns to the groggy man in her bed with a smile on her face.

--”Good morning, Your Majesty. Did you have a nice nap?”

--She had been courteous enough to drag--erm, bring him back home to her mansion until he awoke. It shouldn’t have been too long considering who he was, but he also wasn’t himself... She heard everything and anything, and after gathering intelligence of things past in her long slumber, she found that all the gods she knew were no more. Or rather, they existed, but only in concept. The people she knew were no more, yet they still existed in some way... Maybe she should have been grateful for that, but she would be lying if she said she wasn’t a bit sad to hear the news.
