featuring a ramble

i'm very very new to drawing people. the first person i ever started drawing regularly? was osiris. and you can SEE that start here on this very account! i've come very far, and improved very much, progress that i cannot deny being happy with, but despite drawing him many times now, i can't help but feel like he's still not where i want him. i can't draw him consistently. he changes every time i draw him, sometimes in good ways, sometimes in bad ways, and sometimes the changes are so subtle that i don't even notice what's changing. every time i draw him i make an ACTIVE effort to depict him the way I want to by trying to impress the features that I THINK he has onto my version of him, and it's working, i think. but he's just not there yet. he's come a long way, but he's not there yet.

he's very pretty though. very handsome. he has a big nose, and big eyebrows, and lots of wrinkles, and a tall head with a wide jaw, and i try to give those features to him. i hope it comes through. if it doesn't? well i'll try harder next time. that's all i can do, right? he'll continue being pretty and handsome until then, and he'll only get prettier and handsomer the more i draw him. i'm kind of addicted to drawing him, so i don't think i'll be stopping any time soon (if i can put down my seven destiny ocs for five minutes.....)

anyway, three cheers for this queer and his horrible himbo of a husband. happy pride to them in particular.
