Hiii 👋 for the fic title game: "The man without fear" ? (Inspired by the Daredevil post that was right under the game post you reblogged 😅)

Okay so firstprince (obvs)... it's interesting that both of my asks had fear as a theme in the title. The last one was about fear of being alone whereas this one is about lack of fear, which is an interesting concept...

Alex Claremont-Diaz has it all figured out. He's a lawyer with a good job at a prestigious firm and a clear career trajectory that will have him making six figures and a difference by the time he's 30. He dates casually, having sex when he wants it, and doesn't really think too hard about the fact that he's never been in love or in a long-term relationship. He's good-looking, dresses well, and, okay, maybe he drinks at least 6 cups of coffee a day, so he's maybe a little bit concerned for his heart, but he also exercises and eats fairly well, so he's on a good path. He takes his ADHD meds and tries not to overwork; gets together with his sister and best friend every weekend, talks to each of his parents once a week, goes home for holidays. He's pretty much got his life all figured out.

Which, of course, all comes crashing down when he meets Henry Fucking Mountchristen-Fox. The gorgeous man is not only cold and unfeeling, but he's a hardass at work, always seeming to expect more from Alex than from anyone else. And all this after waltzing right in with a good job (fucking nepotism) and charming all of Alex's coworkers before he'd even had a chance to introduce himself to the guy. Not to mention the sexuality crisis Henry sparked the moment he and Alex were properly introduced.

Now, Alex has no idea who he is or what he's doing. His career feels uncertain, he's fighting with his family and friends, and his health is suffering. All because of that prick Henry. Nora says it's because he wants Henry, which could not be further from the truth, obviously. But the more Alex and Henry work together, the more Alex begins to suspect that she may be right. Maybe if he gets underneath those broad shoulders, he can figure all this out... or at least get some of his frustration out. Fucking Fox.

Sorry that was the longest thing ever but it's Friday and I just finished work and my creative brain was STARVED! Hahaha.... thanks for the ask, this was fun! 😅
