who would have thought that writting bullying is so hard. I was wrong in judjing you, mangakas across the ages, who put a single no name guy calling the protagonist a poopy-dooki >:| and claiming he's bullied just to never write another insult towards him.
I was just to blinded to see you're brilliant mind. Come here, oh great artist, as I shall kiss the bottom of you feet as proof of my remorse *muah *muah

Get to know me tag
I saw that @dreaming-hibi tageed me, I finally completed it!!
Rules: Tag 10 people you want to get to know better
Last song: Vanish Into you- Lady Gaga, the beats, the melody, Gaga knew what she was doing when she made MAYHEM, she was speaking to my soul. The amount of scenes I make in my head with this song in the background. Tsuna killing Enma and wishing he could die with him, Mokuro getting revenge on the Millefiore in the original timeline, all the time not understanding why he's so obsessed that a mafia trash died. I love that this song can be read as someone speaking to dead loved one, or to the lost of oneself as one accepts the role that they have to play now.
Last movie: I don't watch movies, but I'm pretty sure it was Fantastical Beasts and Where To Find Them. I loooooove Newt, my autistic babygirl— I HATE JK.Rowling, she's not only a bad person, but she's terrible in script writing, I truly wish that she would have employed someone else to do the script, and she was just an observer, like, every important decision has to go thru her first. Instead she chose to dive head first into a story with infinite potencial, but bombed so bad it isn't funny anymore. I love the idea of the series but hate the execution. (also why the fact is Grindelwalt in it? She already demonstrated she can't do political suspense in Harry Potter, why does she continue to do it?)
Last book: Don Quijote de la Mancha, I just really like it, it's funny TO ME.
Last TV show: Dragula season 4— LOVE Hoso, all the love to them, he's so creative I love to see him. I also like Sigourney, her aesthetic is very in the lane of the Boulet Brothers, whinsh I think is one of the reasons she was on the Top 4, but just as Hoso struggled with glam, she struglled with filth and horror.
Sweet/savoury/spicy: Sweet till the end. I love cookies and brownies with tea. Finding a sweat treat and pairing it up with the perfect tea is soooo good.
Relationship status: single ad happy. Technically dating Xavier from LADs, if the cards are anything to go by
Last thing I googled: PAO2, I study to be a Vet, and i had a test on the respiratory system
Looking forward to: going home from vacation, I don't live with my parents, so now that my uni has a week of vacation I'm going home, where i don't have to cook
Current obsessions: Lads, Mayhem as an album, the Everyone/Jungkook tag in AO3, Ghost (The Band), Spheal (Pokémon)
No Pressure Tagging: I don't know anyone

In defense of Akira Amano. Almost piece of media at the time did similar things.
t’s hard to work around the fact that the two characters who need to interact and have a conversation don’t know each other’s language. Often, it's encouraged by the fans to interpret these moments as if they’re speaking english. And while that makes sense for most of these characters (Lambo and I-Pin are presented as assassins, so knowing English seems like something the organization they work for would encourage), it doesn’t for Tsuna specifically.
In canon, Tsuna is barely taking his education seriously, and that's just because Reborn hits him when he doesn't. He's shown to be bad at japanese, and isn't shown to be part of a majorly english-speaking-fandom. The likelyhood that he knows fluent english is low.
But it's just something that everyone does at some point; Charlotte does something similar, One Piece (Though it's never explicitly told that they speak different languages, but come on over 70 islands (at least) and they all speak the same language?)
Realistically, the Varia would have to bring an interpreter, but then Akira would have to create that character, which would make the Varia seem less like their own characters and more like “the weirdos with (insert interpreter’s name here).” Without the interpreter, they would be stuck in a constant game of charades and that's just weird for a group of assassins that want to kill you.
In the end Akira did have to choose the lesser evil, even if it makes my head hurt. It's just one of the many cases where authors were forced, by the circunstances of their own narrative, to bend reality in order to make it work.
Personally, i always thought that the Varia and the rest of the international characters knew Japanese because of the Yakuza. At least, there is historical record that the Yakuza and the Italian Mafia were allies in New York and other US States. It's not crazy to think that they still are allies, and thus, know each other language.
Is Japanese a lingua franca in KHR universe?
KHR anime seems to make it a point to ignore the whole language thing, while in the manga the only one we are shown as speaking a different language is just I-Pin, even though there should definitely be more characters — did the whole Varia learn Japanese just in case?? In what case?!
Also Gokudera? Let me not even get started on him, although I will say this, why is his name Gokudera Hayato if he's supposed to be born and raised in italy and italian?
5 year old Lambo?!
Rokudo Fucking Mukuro?? Who was imprisoned? Like did his prison offer a Japanese crash course?? YOU KNOW, IN CASE YOU MIGHT NEED IT SHOULD YOU GO TO JAPAN AND TRY TO MURDER VONGOLA DECIMO
List of characters that have a believable excuse for knowing Japanese:
Reborn
Basil, because Iemitsu taught him instead of taking care of Tsuna
Byakuran, do I even need to say why?
Characters who were living in Japan at the start of the series (Tsuna, Takeshi, Hibari, Kyoko, Ryohei, Haru, etc)
that's it, that's the list.
Everyone else? Inexcusable.

because, i'm so sorry, but Mukuro's HOT and Yamamoto is so chill, like the chill guy, and that's so hot.
And Gokudera with the kind of punk aesthetic is so hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot. The chains, the leather the glasses. Him on that motorcycle. Gawd
I do have the hc that Hibari's pretty instead of hot, Like he's good looking, but definetly on the more femenine side. And he's build vaguely like a twink. Troye Sivan/Timothee Chalamet/Bojrn Anderson core.
I kinda want tsuna to thirst after his guardians, at least when he first meets them.

sometimes it's in the little things
I have a ton of little questions that i have before i start writting my khr fanfic. If you could comment so that I can begin the actual outline it would be very much appreciated.
Is it written flame or Flame?
And when I'm talking about the element, should I capitalize it?
ej: sky flames or Sky Flames
In this fanfic, the seal on Tsuna's Flames is defective, and sometimes it results on a very small amount of flames leaking out of him. Should this have a name, and if so, what's appropiate?
Flame flare-up, seal flare-up.
Flame slip
Flame leak
Or something else entirely?
Thank you so much for helping me with this proyect, even if you don't interact with me at all, I like to just spit things out to the void to make the concepts in my head make sense.
In a while i should also talk about Namimori and why tsuna was sealed at all- Just because i don't like the logic behind timoteos decision.
#khr#katekyo hitman reborn#sawada tsunayoshi#fanfic#fanfiction#wip#i don't know if the format of this is good

The plot of the khr fanfic
so the main plot of my khr fanfic is still really shaky. I was thinking that the seal on Tsuna's flames was acting up for some reason.
I'm pretty sure (i watched khr so long ago) that Timoteo sealed tsuna's flames by touching his forehead with two fingers. I may be remembering this wrong but I'll roll with it for now.
And it looks bad, a grown man trying to gently coerce a child into keeping quiet and letting him touch him, while the dad pins down his son for his boss. Is it really that crazy to think the mom will start throwing acussations? and when the two men ignore her and make her feel like she's overreacting, while Tsuna is still screaming, is it really crazy to think that she'll physically attack the man?
So, when Tsuna gets in the room with his papa and his papa's boss and the old man has weird fire in his hand and is insisting in touching him, he screams. He screams Loud. And Nana hears him and rushes up the stairs to the room.
And is in the middle of this scene where Nono seals Tsuna’s flames, and with the child's mom insisting he's a creep, Iemitsu pathetic attempts at calming her down, Tsuna fighting and kicking and screamig, and to top it of the mom decides to throw herself at him. Well, nobody could fault him at making a simple mistake, could they?.
And it's not like the seal doesn't work. It does, for the most part. The thing is that the seal forces Tsuna's Flames into the body. The problem is that the seal forces all of Tsuna’s flames to stay inside his body. Which would be fine… if that’s how Flames worked in this AU.
In this universe, different Flame types behave in different ways. Sky Flames are always seeking potential Elements, so the user is constantly exuding a significant portion of their Flames into their surroundings.
Let’s say a generic Sky user has 100% of their Flames inside them at birth. As soon as their Flames awaken, they begin pouring out; up to 80% of their total output diffuses into the surrounding area. For a weak Sky, that might mean their room is thick with their Flames. For a powerful Sky like Tsuna, it means his entire block is bathed in his Flame’s presence.
Skies are taught to rein that in, but even then, they’ll never keep 100% of their Flames internal, unless they have a complete set. The constant outward pressure is how a Sky finds their potential Elements after all.
In Tsuna’s case, the seal forces 100% of his Flames to stay inside him at all times. But his Flames want to pour out. So now the seal inside him is under constant pressure. An unmovable object vs. an unstoppable force. And for now, the object wins.
But it cracks, every once in a while.
The pressure causes the Flames to compact, and the seal shrinks in response to keep up. But that only encourages the Flames to condense further. They try to form a dense, constantly moving ball of energy (think rasengan, but with Flames). The smaller and denser the ball, the faster the rotation, meaning more force, which slowly chips away at the seal.
And that’s when the next problem hits.
And once in a while, the Flames get out.
Once outside Tsunayoshi, the Flames don’t behave like typical Sky Flames. They no longer spread into the air or soak into his clothes. They keep the instinct to stay compact—tight-knit—and instead, they invade whatever object Tsuna is holding and make themselves at home.
Meanwhile, the seal repairs itself almost instantly. So the amount of Flame that actually escapes is almost negligible. That’s why neither Nono nor Iemitsu notice that the seal isn’t holding as firmly as it should—and also why Tsuna isn’t able to perceive the Flames at all.
And Tsuna, a child who never even knew he had literal fire inside him, doesn’t notice either. Sure, his hand feels unnaturally warm sometimes, but he has no idea that he left a piece of himself in the baseball he forgot at the park, or the pencil sitting in his classroom desk, or the little bird he helped back into its nest.
But Namimori does notice that there's a string in the tree, the third one on the right of the entrance of the middle school. The string on itself doesn't matter, but what it has inside.
Namimori wants.

SO i'm trying to put actual thought into my khr fanfic and need to put a couple things down.
I'm pretty sure that I will go down a flame-lore heavy way. Like i want it to feel like Sky flame users are actually royalty, not in a "they're so rare" way, but in a "I actually need you to be happy or all hell will break loose" way.
At the same time I don't want it to feel lika a dictatorship. The Sky is the glue in the friend group, not the center of it.
It's almost like your mom: if she's happy, you can be tired, happy, actually live your life. But if she's angry or sad, then everyone will be angry or sad. No one knows peace under her roof. No one will know peace under his Sky.
So in order to marry the two concepts, I was thinking that the "courting" is the simple way to go. Courting being the time the non-Sky of the Familia spends trying to please the Sky in order to getincorporated into the group.
You actually need to impress both the user and their Flame in order to achieve harmony. Acts of loyalty and kindness, as well as feats in battle, are often dedicated to the Sky they are bonded with, or trying to bond with, in order to please them. It’s about showing that you have both the capacity and the will to keep them protected and content.
That doesn’t necessarily mean being a “yes man” or following every order to the letter, unless that’s something that particular Sky is drawn to.
Once the courtship is over and the Sky and the element actually harmonize the start acting more akin to a traditional friend group or a chosen family. They all care for each other, and the relationships between the elements are reasonably separated that the one they share with the Sky.
The relationship between element and Sky is kinda weird anyways. Based on shared respect and companionship, but it's also very intimate, a little romatic and vaguely transactional. At the end of the day, the Sky and the element search harmonization in order to become stable themselfs, it's an evolutionary act. There's no element nor Sky that doesn't search for that kind of relationship.
I'll explore a little more on courtship and how it works on a later date, but this is how i imagine it for now. I have no idea how this process is actually gonna look like in the fanfic.
I think Hibari’s tendency toward violence is a sign that he’s courting Tsuna, but it’s also just part of who he is. Like, he wants Tsuna to like him, basically. He values order, so he proves he can create and maintain it, even if that means enforcing it at Tsuna’s expense. At the same time, he refuses to actually bond with Tsuna until Tsuna is strong enough. He does like him, but he wants him to grow before accepting that bond.
Yamamoto, on the other hand, will have a little crush on Tsuna in the begining because of lore inside the fanfic, but he does dedicate his baseball abilities to him, even if Tsuna doesn't know it. And that's the reason why loosing his abilities in baseball is so crushing to him. He lost the one thing he was expectacular at (He's "THE baseball guy") , but he's also lost the thing that connected him with his late mother AND the one thing he felt he had to offer to his Sky?? that's soul crushing,
The rest i dont know how it will go. Gokudera probably will just beg, once, and Tsuna will accept it. It's not hard to bond with him, but the others will complicate it themselfs.

So i was thinking in the khr i mencioned i wanted to write, and i kinda have a couple of ideas of where i want to go with it.
I'm pretty sure I'll make Tsuna and his Familia a little older, like 15-16. Just because i don't want to deal with middle school in any capacity, even fictional so i'll just skip it. And with them being a little bit older the teenage angst is a little bit more angst.
Like 14 y/o angst is your crush, who you'll never date, calling you stupid for not knowing the answer for a math problem. But 16 yo angst is dealing with the fact that even if you hate your dad for never being there for you or your mom, you still need to act friendly with him cuz he pays for everything. It's hating your mom because she chose this life and is doing nothing to get out. She´s financially dependent on a man that could drop dead tomorrow and she won't know until the bank comes to take the house because he didn't pay the mortage. And instead of doing something logical, like getting a part time job, she is content like that. But, at the same time, you can't hate her, because you recognise that she's also a victim of your father.
And logically you know that you're anger towards your mom is a coping mecanism, because you recognise that she's the victim too, but the sperm donor isn't there, he's like a construct, so the only one left to direct your anger towards is your mom. So you're left with the bubble of anger towards your mom that doesn't deserve it, because at the end of the day, how will a victim save another one? and why does he expect a woman to fix what a man broke? Is it mysoginy? Is it fair of him to expect that his mere existance will make his mom berake her contentness with nothing, pull herself up and do something she hasn't done for the last 17 years? because in your short talks with her, it's clear that she was nothing but the man's pretty housewife since they married, and they were already married for a year before you were born and trapped her for life with the man. But she doens't resent you, and you're left with the question if she truly doesn’t resent you because there’s genuinely nothing to resent, and you’re just crazy for feeling all this misplaced anger. Or she's just pretending to be perfectly fine so you won’t have to carry the extra stress while you’re already trying to survive all the academic, emotional, and hormonal chaos that comes with being this age.
And this is just my super skilled, deeply expirienced writer brain spinning this, not something that i think about while staring at my ceiling. Absolutly not, this is just fiction, pure vibes.
