Gaming Bellyache Headcanons

Might as well do this too since I can't get the sweetie pie out of my head.

Being someone who's always active, Gaming tends to eat a lot when he's not on the job.

This guy loves his dim sum, particularly char siu, but he also likes to indulge in some of Xiangling's spicy cooking.

Unfortunately, all that spiciness mixed with all the other food he's eaten does not sit well in his tummy.

It starts when he feels his belly get a little hotter than normal and it starts to bubble inside him. He knows right away it's telling him that it might be a good time to stop. Unfortunately, he gets so caught up in eating, he doesn't heed that warning very much.

Next thing he knows, his stomach is gurgling up a storm, so loudly, in fact that passersby can hear it and mistake it for thunder.

By the time, he's finished, he looks down and sees that his tummy is quite bloated, and it sounds like a boiling pot. He can actually feel it against his hand.

That's when the pain finally sets in, and he lets out these little moans as he tries to rub his tummy to get it to settle.

He also gets really bad hiccups, and occasionally, it stirs up some gas, which causes him to have burps mixed in with the hiccups, and that tends to hurt his throat just a little.

He decides to pay his tab and leave, but he doesn't head back home right away. He figures that maybe getting in some Wushou Dancing practice or just going on a delivery run might help him digest faster.

However, his boss can hear his tummy gurgling and he sees the sickly look on his face, so he urges him to go home and rest for a while. Though Gaming tries to insist he's fine, another cramp shoots through his belly and he realizes that he's in a losing battle.

The poor baby decides to go home, whimpering and moaning as he cradles his tummy. By now, just walking is a struggle for him, and his stomach rumbling and churning turns quite a few heads.

He finally makes it back home and climbs into bed. For good measure, he drinks some soothing herbal tea, which seems to finally calm his stomach down.

Then, with a sigh, he gently massages it all over, just like how mom used to do when he got a tummy ache as a little kid.

Just as he's about to fall asleep, Gaming lets out one big burp, releasing all that gas that had been building up inside him and granting him the relief he very much needed.

Now that his tummy feels a little less packed than before, he finally falls asleep...and dreams about eating more dim sum.

posted about this on my old account once but listen. I’m thinking about cyno being forced to eat scarabs/desert bugs on a mission in the desert due to a lack of options. he’s not able to ignore the growling coming from his abdomen anymore and he feels his energy is significantly drained, and so he’s forced to turn to whatever is available.

the scarabs aren’t the easiest to eat but cyno can force it down his throat just fine, even if he shivers as he feels it make its way into his stomach.

it gives him the energy he needs for the mission, but afterward? he just collapses into his bed, clutching his stomach throbbing in pain, trying to fall asleep as it sickeningly gurgles away trying to digest the scarabs he ate

(dont worry, tighnari eventually finds him and gives him the proper care)

Vomiting is less common than nausea but it's still possible, yes

freminet after swallowing the primordial seawater by accident, still unconscious as he’s pulled out of the water.

passed out completely as his body rejects the strange liquid. clorinde can only hold him upright while he vomits out everything in his digestive system, seawater and food coming up in watery chunks.

even after he wakes up, he’s still shaky and barely cognizant. the salty seawater feels like lava being forced out of his mouth and nose. lyney or sigewinne helps him get it up as he gags.

lyney lets freminet lay down with his head on his lap, giving him as much time and attention as he needs to recover.
