What's the deadliest beast in Atomata? And have humans ever encountered them? Actually have Atomatans ever encountered the deadliest organic wildlife(assuming Porphyal has big animals), and if so how did they deal with them?

Hmm.. I imagine that any beasts in atomata that don’t have a counterpart in porphyal likely stay far from the border, so humans likely haven’t encountered them since the start of the war. During the beginning of the war though, dragons were the most deadly

Are there any creatures from either Atomata or Porphyal that live in the other country? Like organic rats living in Atomata or vice-versa? Or does the magic keep everything separated?

Absolutely! Small animals/flying animals can sneak across the border between burnings. Porphyalian creatures don’t tend to last long in atomata though since there isn’t any food for them. There are also Atomatons who live in porphyal and porphyalians who live in atomata, they just do it in hiding/secret. After 300 years it’s nearly impossible for there not to have been at least a few people who wanted the greener pastures on the other side

Dahmia has chronic pain? From what her dad did to her? How would Archie and Elio react if they found out(if they don't already know)?

She does, and yes! Its that cold, aching feeling in her chest. It makes it hard for her to breathe, and on occasion spreads through her limbs giving her a tingling numb feeling

The boys realizing she’s in pain will be in the story itself!

You said casander would have inherited the shop, but did he even liked working there? If he did, was there a toy he was proud of?

:( no, he hated it. But it was the family business, and he wouldn’t have wanted to disappoint his father by not taking over

Are paper airplanes a type of creature in Atomata?

Sort of! Origami birds exist!

OK so, ignoring the fact they're all literal royalty, which household chore would each of the main four (Casander, Dahmia, and the brothers) be the best and worst at?

Casander would be best at cooking & just awful at organization

Dahmia would excel with organization & suck at anything that involves standing up/walking around for long periods of time (chronic pain ! She’s really really toughing it out in canon)

Elio would be great at laundry, mostly bc he likes pulling it warm out of the dryer. Getting him to fold it is another story. He’d be terrible at anything to do with food

Arche would excel at deep cleaning. Getting in all the nooks & crannies. Would likely be bad at anything involving a farm where it’s like. Very dirty and not just dust dirty. He would refuse to get anywhere near it

Do playpeople cry? I assume they wouldn't, but would they do something adjacent to crying when seriously upset?

They cannot :( it feels very frustrating for them, because they get the same burning in their chests that humans do when they want to cry, but don’t get that release

Do playpeople have horse-equivalents for riding and draft purposes? Do they look like horses or could they resemble other creatures? How to these mounts stack up against flesh-and-blood horses?

They have the carousel horses! Can be made of wood or plastic, and are a bit slower than real horses but have far more stamina

Are there any dangerous animals in Atomata? Like bears or wolves or such? Or are there complete unique fauna native to Atomata that have no Porphyal equivalents?

Yep! Almost Everything in Porphyal has an atomaton equivalent, however they have creatures that Porphyal does not. Mythical creatures :) they’re very rare, but they exist!

If the main characters hadn't been born (or thrown) into royalty, what would they have liked to be?

Elio wouldve still done exactly what he did, jump from career to career while exploring

Arch wouldve liked to write books, mostly research based ones (And poetry under a psudeonym)

Dahmia is so invested and passionate about her role I have no idea. If this were a modern au id say CEO or politics. if it was the same world she was just a commoner I think she'd work on a farm and start up a renegade group on the side

Casander wouldve worked in his father's shop, gotten married, had a kid of his own who would then also work in that shop
