yeah, I said "practice". remember how much joy there was in getting a new toy/book/game as a kid, and practice feeling that excitement again. a lot of us had that instinct squashed out of us, and you may not even know that you've internalized the idea that being excited and joyful isn't "mature" or "cool".

fuck that! let yourself experience joy and excitement! part of being an adult is learning that not only should you be able to feel anger/sadness/hard emotions without suppressing them, you have to do that for joy/excitement/wonder too.

let yourself feel unhindered, unbridled excitement!

re-reading your bethroned fic as i adore it months ago and wanted to go down memory lane <3 but i`m curious... now that uh...the father is sadly gone...would that make Elios the king now? would he have to take the place as soon as possible?? ...and haha they have followed the princess on the journey currently...soo...is their kingdom looking for Elios or do they not mind that he has wandered off??

The queen remains the ruler until Elio is married! They’re very much looking for him, and *very* upset at his disappearance (not just for his leadership role- but because he is the son of the kingdom and they love him!!)

Aww, hi! :) Eventually, yes! I wrote all of that very very quickly and my attention has shifted elsewhere, but I still love the stories and the work i put into them so i will ofc be coming back. Trying to remind myself rome wasnt built in a day, yanno!
