I think one thing people didn't catch in LiveALive was how the Demon King works. Yes, it ended up being Oersted in the end. But note what he says when you finally defeat him: As long as there is hatred, anyone can become the king of demons.

As long as hatred becomes too great within someone, anyone can BECOME the Demon King. The Demon King is a title, not a being that IS the King of Demons. This is why when you go to kill the "Demon King", Hash yells that that wasn't him, and that he's much more powerful. The Demon King wasn't the demon you fight...at the time of that battle, the Demon King was Straybow.

At first this seems like complete bogus. But then we see Oersted's dream the night he's framed for the King's murder:

The demon king is in the room you fought the fake demon in, and Straybow "died" in (from a cave in). The Demon King is also in front of the statue Straybow was fiddling with after the battle, while Uranus and Oersted mourned the death of Hash. Straybow, when he submitted to his hatred and started his plan to ruin Oersted, became the Demon King right at that moment when he faked the cave in, his death, and saved Alicia himself while sending Oersted on a wild goose chase (and set him up to be hated by the people of the nation!) so he can't Get The Girl.

More foreshadowing is actually at the beginning of the chapter. During the tournament, Oersted stands on the right, Straybow the left. The geography of Lucretia has the Hero Mountain range on the west of the castle, and the Demon Mountain to the east of the castle...

I think this also explains why Alicia... is safe and ultimately chose to die with him rather than stay alive. She sees Oersted as a man who took everything from her lover, probably, assuming that when Straybow rescued her first he told her a sob story (going by her "You'll never understand what it's like to be the loser you main character fuck 😔" shit she says...yeah. she's probably been filled in on Straybow's woes). And I can see how you fall for the one that saves you from...demon central. However, she's still a villain in my eyes though. She's fickle as shit! Does she really think Oersted DIDN'T try at all to save her? Annoying.

So basically. Straybow? Isn't hated ENOUGH by the fanbase, if you ask me. It's one thing to betray your bestie, but to become the next incarnation of the Demon King right after? That's also pretty fucked up!

tbh i dont get why most people assume that robots are always cold
