Good GOD do not get me fucking started. Ship borne out of a hatred for Jake English and exists purely to piss me off. "Narrative foils" my ass. I don't know how in 2024 people can hate Jake English but like Dirk Strider but here the fuck we are. DirkJohn fucking sucks man. They don't talk a single fuckin time, they'd have no chemistry, and it requires a fundamental misunderstanding of Jake and Dirk both as individual characters and as a pairing to enjoy. There is no ship that gets more on my nerves than DirkJohn. Special agent sent to make my life fucking miserable.
