06-01-18 Hello everyone! So happy to get back on track again. Sorry for being so inactive for the past 3 months, uni got 89.9% of my life! Lol. Here’s my weekly spread for the first week of the year! I’ll try to become more active this time and upload some of the lectures I made. Btw, happy new year studyblr community! Let’s start the year full of hopes, determination and motivation! January 1 

Your Year Card for 2018 

There are a couple of ways to calculate this, but here is the one I learned first:

The day you were born:          12 The month you were born:        1 The current year:                 2018 Total                                     2031

Add these numbers together: 2+0+3+1=6

If the number is greater than 22, reduce it to a single digit. The Major Arcana Card that corresponds to that number is your Year Card (22 is the Fool).

 If you want to use another method to calculate the number, feel free, but please share it with us!

 The Year Card can represent energies that will surround us for the coming year or areas where we need growth.  We’ll also be doing some work with this card throughout the month.

January 2 

The Wolf Moon

 Yesterday and today we have the first full moon of the year. It’s also the first super moon of the year. Full moons are for letting go and manifesting. Find the Moon card in your deck. The card before it is what you need to let go of from last year. The card after it is what you need to manifest this year.

January 3

Looking at Your Year Card.

Take a sheet of paper and write down what you observe in your Year Card using the following categories:

First Impressions

Colors

Shapes

Objects

People/Animals

Activity/Motion

Landscape

Other Observations

January 4

Drawing Your Year Card

Use an index card, or other medium for drawing—something the size of a Tarot card (and there are a LOT of different sizes of Tarot decks!). Without looking at the card from any of your decks, draw the symbols/objects/etc. that depict the meaning of your Year Card for you. Stick figures, line shapes, whatever works for you. Lock your inner perfectionist in the basement and just draw.

Compare your drawn Year Card with your Year Card from one or more of your decks.

I’m gonna come back to it, but i might turn it into a dual purpose part studyblur part witchblr? Cause a lot of my craft is medicinal and i use like herbs and stuff to improve concentration or physical wellbeing????

A packed week calls for a simple spread, but I’m not complaining! Sometimes a huge to-do list can look really overwhelming. Here’s a reminder to take a step back, breathe, and take it one step at a time. Everything will be okay.
