One Character in your fandom no one talks about?

Just wanted to say this but I am a Harry Potter fan (fuck JKR tho, she can die in hell) but there is this one fucking asshole I hate so much and is so disgusting I'm horrified there's so little discussed about him and that is Fenrir Greyback.

Let's just start off with him being a fucking pred, preferring to turn FUCKING KIDS into werewolves before kidnapping and brainwashing them. (Source: Half-Blood Prince) as well as being a cannibal. We literally see a clip of him devouring Lavender Brown, causing her BRUTAL death, (and is implied he's eaten a BABY) as well as being known for going so overboard on his attacks he more often murders than infects people (whom I may reiterate are fucking kids) and he only attacked Remus because his father - Lyall Lupin - said some discriminatory shit about werewolves (not cool by any means but don't blame the kid for their parent's actions) and he went out in such a shitty way because all that happened was Sybill Trelawny smashed a glass ball over his head and Ron and Neville defeated him in the second half of the Battle of Hogwarts (Great Hall face-off) where he either died or went back to Azkaban (I'm not fully sure). Not only that but in the Half-Blood Prince we are told by the Montgomery sisters that their five-year-old brother was brutally murdered by Greyback, just because their mum didn't support the Death Eaters.

IDK how to title this but lets all stop this

As an avid fanfiction writer and reader the one thing that peeves me off to an indescribable degree is MINORS BEING SHIPPED WITH FULLY GROWN/MIDDLE-AGED MEN or CHARACTERS WHO HAVE TORTURED/BEEN TORTURED BY EACH OTHER! It's so fucking weird and I know this is controversial but PLEASE I am so fucking sick of Remus Lupin/Hermione Granger (OR FENRIR FUCKING GREYBACK) or Harry Potter/Severus Snape.

I'm noticing a trend

I'm beginning to notice I love shipping the mc of a series with a character who has a very impactful death on the protagonist and the storyline.

Like, there's Thomas from the Maze Runner who I ship with Newt, and then I ship Harry Potter with Cedric Diggory. Why is this a reoccurring trend?
