I'd like to think that little grin of his was from me screaming "IKE-SAN" right at the beginning. They were doing a sound check (apparently for the first time in front of fans) which is why I muted the video. But last Sunday was the kick off to SPYAIR's 2018 world tour and I'm so glad I had the chance to watch my all time favorite J-Rock band live. I was in the middle of the crowd right where he could see me half the time and I swear we made eye-contact and he even pointed to my phone at one point while grinning (I was too far away and my phone does not do him justice quality-wise). Not only that but on Friday during the signing when they arrived I ended up in a part of the line that stuck out directly in front of him. I was kinda peeking out at him. He did a little finger wave and I (being my shy awkward self) felt the full on blush as I shyly waved back. And he just grinned and gave me a full wave. Ugh I wish they advertised the VIP session properly cause I would definitely have gone. But overall they did such an amazing job (along with Rookiez) and I am so SO glad to say I saw their very first live of the tour. I definitely teared up during Beautiful Days (my cheer-me-up song that always helps during the worst days) and made sure I followed along as much as I could with chants and chorus parts. Kenta had beautiful arms like always (and now seems to be training U from Rookiez!). Momiken sang very clearly into the mic at times and I loved it. He was being goofy during soundcheck too. UZ I unfortunately couldn't see much as there was a group of giants blocking my view of him (I was surrounded by guys at least 5'10+ and I'm barely 5'2). But I could definitely hear him singing ♡ It was really great. Especially when Shinnosuke from Rookiez came out to sing Samurai Heart ♡ It's taken me so long to post cause I couldn't decide on a pic/video to post.
