I think it’s super important for us in the studyblr community to acknowledge that it’s okay to fall off the wagon? It’s okay to mess up and not have everything perfect. You want to have everything be picture perfect but it rarely is. Sometimes shit happens and you can’t keep up your work or you can’t accomplish everything you wanted to.
The key is to not beat yourself up about it.
If you slide on ice, you don’t hit the breaks.
You have to trust yourself to do better. Comparing your mistake to what you had wanted to accomplish will only begin the never ending cycle of self hatred. You’ll be okay, just get back up and try again.
If you slide on ice, don’t hit the breaks.

2. How did you decide on your url name?
I was trying to think of a good one and suddenly the song “Little Lion Man” came into my head and I thought “Ah yes this is a good idea!” And out came studylittleliongirl.
20. What is your best piece of advice about studying?
Study as much as you can, whenever you can, but remember to take a break. I study in most of my breaks using OneNote but sometimes I just take a day off. It’s a good idea not to push yourself until you break because if you break before you have time to just relax (like after finals) you won’t achieve anything.
21. Are your friends as studious as you are?
Uhm… No I don’t think so? One of my friends is as studious as me but all my other friends are pretty chill about working on homework or reading… at least they come off that way? It’s hard to say. I’m the girl with flashcards on her phone and my own study guides and stuff? So I don’t think many of my friends are NEARLY as intense lol

or you can just say “said”?
All these are really distracting words and if you just put one of these in every other line the story becomes cluttered and confused.
Nobody notices the word said. They recognize that the line is a spoken line, that someone said it and then they move on. Only use these sparingly.
Say what you mean to say, don’t say what someone else gives you to say.

I use a suite of apps!
iStudiez for my homework and class schedule!
Wunderlist for my “bullet journal” set up!
OneNote for my notes and things like that!
For big events like doctors appointments I just slip them into the iphone calendar because it works pretty well!
I (finally!) got an iPhone, does anyone have any recommendation for organisational apps?

Despite my impeccable organization I can’t seem to find my math notes.
Time to start scanning them into OneNote.

Microbiology Lecture exam tomorrow. Running crazy amounts of pomodoros and watching my cat enjoy herself. I do not recommend having a bacterial infection for three days before an exam. It will stress out your tiny pre-med heart.

05.23.15 // 1:10 pm || My Wenziday Better Together organizer finally came in! It’s so great and a fantastic way to keep organized for me, especially because I can keep everything in one place. I’m just waiting on some highlighters and some more washi tape now! And then I need to decide which Staedtler pens I want to order and I’ll be golden!
