My mechanical Lunar Zodiac pig is done!
I'm happy with how this has gone. I'm going to add some shading to bring out some of the details that can get lost among the linework, but this feels good to me.

Reposting my first piece of this year. This is my first landscape illustration , and I've tried some different things with the colouring (which is the aspect I always feel i need to work on) with some #digital #watercolour stuff.
There's also plenty that's consistently me as well. This is based on my own photography from Tooting in London, and the graffiti is something that I'm always using. It got me thinking about how, especially in urban spaces, people leave so many signs of their having been there, that you're never really alone.

I got #delasoulisdead on vinyl back when I was 12 or 13, and I don’t know how many hundreds of times I’ve listened to it. I’ve even been lucky enough to see them live a couple of times. Dave was part of something truly special; how many people can say they’ve been part of four all-time classic hip-hop albums? Beyond that, he made the kind of music that your life probably wouldn’t be the same if you never heard. I know mine wouldn’t. This is just some #sketch work I did last night, but it feels really significant to me, because this is the first drawing I’ve done in months. I recently tried to draw #spiderman at the comic club I run at work, and realised how out of practice I’d let myself get. It felt really good to finally have time to sit and draw some #parkour images, and to do my first drawing on my new computer.
