Ozzy Osbourne’s death is like the death of a crusty white 3 legged no toothed dog in it’s mid 20s. It’s shocking and heartbreaking, but the shock mostly comes from the fact that it lived so long and through so much bodily strain that you kind of subconsciously assumed it was immortal.

Pitfighter Claggor AU

So I have a headcanon that in the alternate universe in s2e7, Claggor secretly becomes a pitfighter to cope with his grief over losing Vi. I have a few thoughts on it that definitely have more context behind it, but all in all I don’t think he would handle her death particularly well.

(This also could be paired with my AU where he and Vi are Silco and Vander’s children)

So, here are some thoughts in no particular order:

(CW: Substance abuse, mentions of self harm, just general angst and grief)

Started when he was seventeen, saw an advertising poster and got the idea. Had his first match that same night.

Called himself Cain and his look is similar to pitfighter Vi’s, though his makeup is more on the upper half of his face and smeared down rather than just the eyes. He also doesn’t have a jacket and his arm wraps are yellow rather than white.

Was known for just throwing people around in the ring, similar to how he did when he was a younger teenager.

Had a match on his eighteenth birthday.

One night, some of the other fighters took him out for a night and he got incredibly wasted. One even suggested going to The Last Drop but he redirected the group away. Hated the feeling of a hangover so he didn’t do it again, but he still drank from time to time. (Happened later in his “career”. Vander noticed he was hungover and Claggor lied on the spot about being at a party)

Picked up a smoking habit. Took him a few years to quit.

Mimicked some of Vi’s moves in the ring.

Cried after most matches, win or lose, because he didn’t understand why he wasn’t feeling better.

Broke his ribs after a match and hid the entire healing process from his family. He hid most of his injuries pretty well and made up excuses for the more visible ones. He’s like a cat when he’s in pain, hiding away.

One of the youngest fighters. The only one younger was a sixteen year old girl. He refused to fight her. She reminded him too much of Vi.

One of the cues to his family that something was wrong was when Powder noticed his knuckles were bruised. He was never outwardly violent, so it alerted her that all may not have been what it seemed.

Sometimes let himself lose because he thought he deserves it. He was labeled self destructive in the ring.

May or may not had fought Sevika once. He thought she didn’t recognize him. She did. Whooped his ass.

Once Mylo caught him smearing black makeup on his eyes. Joked that he was having an emo phase. Felt terrible later.

The first one that figured it out completely was Silco. He followed him one night and watched his match. Cornered him in the locker room afterwards. (They were still on bad terms, so it was both awkward and infuriating)

Might have hallucinations too idk yet tho (more like Vi’s than Jinx/Powder’s)

Some of his opponents call him “pup” because of his father “the hound” (who they don’t know is his father)

Both fan bases remind me of each other because of the love they have for the lovable nerds and their interests!
