  “ Tch. ” Her initial reaction was to act thoroughly irritated but that was soon washed away to be replaced by embarrassment. “ A-Ah. Haha…Is that so? Oh, that’s good, then. Because I think you might have stepped on something of mine just now, but I’m not sure… ”

Role play blogs aren’t just about cliques and it shouldn’t be about who you’ve known the longest either. Well it should be but also- there are a lot of shy cinnamon rolls out there waiting for you. But they don’t know that you can vibe with them right off the bat if they’d only send in a meme or a starter or something!

Investigate this, investigate that. Starjun had to question Midora’s motivations sometimes, never in his presence though. The boss had more than enough to think about. Starjun didn’t want to worry him. Anyway, it didn’t matter because here was now, waiting around in silence and observing. He liked to think he was good at that. 

That was when a young woman appeared, talking to someone on a phone. He assumed she must work here. Maybe he could find out a little more from her. As it was he was basically working blind and that did bother him just a little. 

From his spot in the shadows, hands in his pockets, he gave the scientist a slight smile. “I’m not entirely sure myself. I’m going to cut right to the chase. I was sent here to observe…although I don’t know what.”

With a sigh, she hung up the phone, stuck it back in her purse and leaned against the rail. She looked at the sky and closed her eyes, just reveling in the sensation of the breeze against her skin. She had been locked in the underground of AlgoPharma for about a whole week and she definitely wanted back in there…but she could appreciate a little bit of freedom too.

Her peace was disturbed soon enough, though, by a man who didn’t seem to care about the fact that she seemed to be relaxing.

“ Excuse you? ” She replied, startled that he’d even addressed her in the first place. “ May I know how it is any of your business, sir? ”

He really did hope he wasn't being a bother. For someone like him, further attention was something he didn't need. He gave a small nod, accompanied by a smile.

"Thank you. And...tea would be nice if it's not too much trouble for you. I do have a few general questions about this shrine. I like learning..."

“I’m sorry if I’m intruding in any way but I’m afraid my curiosity got the best of me. I happened to be traveling through and overhead people discussing this shrine. Nothing bad, I assure you, but I was curious.”

Rei could feel a powerful aura coming from the other giving a small smile she crossed her arms underneath her bust.

“It’s no problem I mean you weren’t intruding the shrine i open to anyone I was just merely surprised, please  make yourself comfortable we have many trinkets to browse, and if you wish I could prepare a cup of tea.”

to remind people that tumblr is actually the absolute fucking worst & & i feel like i have to explain myself a bit when it comes to things like this, usually because it makes me anxious that people will assume or misinterpret. so, i’d just like to remind people that:

so if i send you repeats of the same asks, memes or messages, sometimes it’s because i’m afraid tumblr ate them in the first place & & you never got them. if i message you asking you if you got my previous message it’s not a bitchy omg why aren’t you answering me it’s legit because i’m worried tumbr ate my message. if i never respond to that starter or that reply or some other thing you tagged me in, sometimes it’s because i never got the notification. if i send you a link with a starter i wrote or notify you that i wrote you something or replied to something or tagged you in something like the day of, it’s not because i’m chasing after you for activity, it’s because i’m worried you never got the notification. 

i’m writing this because i want to keep people from thinking that i’m hounding you or trying to make you pay attention to me by spamming you or some other really annoying reason that makes me out into a super creepy stalker, i swear, it’s only because i’ve had this happen to me multiple times on both ends. i just worry a lot & & i know many others do, so here’s a psa to dispel some of those notions & & make roleplaying a bit more understandable in light of tumblr glitches ! !

Starjun starts out as a villain but he mellows out later, likely cuz he's too apathetic to give a shit XD He is very respectful of those who can stand on their own two feet and he's very curious as well. Korra being able to use other elements besides fire will definitely grab his interest. I think that the whole partner/mentor thing would be very interesting to try as he would get just as involved with the learning process as teaching. He's like a large bara cat.

Welp, he can do all the cooking and worrying cuz he gets anxious like no ones business so Korra can give him a shove every now and then and tell him to chill tf out cuz he definitely needs it.

 From what I looked up on your character’s wiki, although it says Starjun was the show antagonist, he’s also really noble and respectful of those he finds powerful? So with that ( depending on whether or not he would react defiantly against Korra identifying as a ‘superhero’ ), they could possibly have a mentor / pupil dynamic? Even if Starjun isn’t openly admitted / is reluctant about it, maybe he could humor her when she’s around and give her advice about her fire abilities since that’s a power that they have in common. 

Also, since he’s apparently a good cook, he could pass on those skills, since Korra is terrible at it, LOL.
