I remember someone asked this a while back and was told you can't sell your key as a custom to someone

just do it secretly though, act like you designed the cherubun as an adopt and put it up for sale for a few days before transfering to the person you made it for. there's literally no way for the mods to know unless one of you yaps

Yeah, selling the Heavenly Key as a custom slot is similarly banned. Just be smart about it and you won't get banned

On the topic of loopholes, what’s the rule on designing someone a Cherubun using a Heavenly Key? Is it the same rule as the FTO basket?

I have absolutely zero ideas for my key because I’ve been giving less and less of a shit about the species lately. It’s really a bummer since I worked pretty hard towards getting it. But it’s just been rotting in my account for nearly a year, and I know someone who would love a Cherubun and doesn’t have the time to obtain a key. They’re willing to pay me, too (for a custom).

I’m assuming you’d have to be secretive about it by designing it in private, getting it approved, waiting a while, then go through the process of making it look like it’s a legitimate trade. I understand the rule applying to a FTO basket, but Heavenly Keys are so hard to come by. Plus people monetize the shit out of Cherubuns anyway. I don’t see why it would matter. They void designs for the dumbest of reasons.

yeah the fto myo is account-bound until you make an actual character, so using your slot specifically for someone else is a pretty obvious loophole

just do it secretly tho - wait a few weeks for yves to forget, find someone thats not a narc, make the design for them and pretend its just a random bun you designed that you're taking offers on, and then that person just Happens to buy it, easy peasy

Wait I think that person should just have done it secretly or something cause it's a FTO slot, the point is to make it easier for FTOs to get a bun not profit off it, even in trades, and they CAN design and submit it and then it'll be tradable and even sellable, but now there's eyes on them for asking that. I don't love Yves but I also don't think he's being terrible here.

For those who can’t click it, someone who is disconnected with the species asked if they could use their FTO basket to design it for someone and trade it. And in turn, Yves said that the design would be voided since it’s a “loophole”?? I’ve never seen this rule in their TOS or FAQ. Is this another asspull rule or are they really out here voiding designs because someone wants to use the slot to design it for someone and then trade it? That’s so fucking dumb. I’ve never been in a species where that’s rule breaking.

I understand somewhat why you wouldn't allow patientia to be resold. if that happened some folks would probably not bother trying out the roulette while others price gouged what they got. I don't agree with it, but to some extent I understand.

however: why tf aren't we allowed to DONATE them?? I've been on the site multiple years and I have too many of these bitches but I see people who have been rolling daily (for as long as I have or longer) with none!! like abuse of the pillow pile is already not allowed, which would cover any folks tryina sell that way

The fact Yves will nit pick some designs to death but other's will be allowed in with clearly missing aspects on their doll designs is hilarious because it's usually always Lolity doll designs or very generic shiny anime styles that get the pass.

The whole species is a place where artist unique styles go to die. Lmao learn to draw like Haccubi or Luca or just be prepared for any myo you send in to be rejected over the smallest non issue. This isn't even mentioning how they allow no creativity over traits for to keep up like 'realism' in an underground demon bunny society focused on vices.
