I watched Cowperthwaite's film "Blackfish" over winter break and it really effected me (what documentaries don't though.) This is, of course, an extremely controversial subject especially coming from my childhood area of Central Florida.
I hope you guys are ready for me to be posting a lot of documents on this, because I'm starting to get obsessed.

Such an important part of Information Technology that needs to be shared! This isn't just happening overseas, it is also taking place in my own University.
FSU IT and ICT are strong supporters of women finding careers in the technology field. We have organizations such as STARS Computing Corps and WISE.
It's not enough, though. The reactions that I get from those who ask what my career plans are twist my stomach in knots. Woman are breaking barriers in all places in this world, but we need not forget that we can design, program, and lead!

The anticipation is killing me.
BUKU fest 2013 was the best weekend of my short life, and I cannot wait until BUKU fest 2014.

New Year, New Blog (oh please)
Kickstarted the New Year off with cleaning my room, contact list, and teeth (I finally conquered my fear of the dentist.)
Welcome to my new found humble abode. I hope you are ready for my rants and cat photos!
If you're looking for a cookie cutter blog ran by a college student who is looking to impress a board of directors, look elsewhere. I will be posting articles, photos, personal pieces on things that I think are important not only for people in my field, but for all people in general. Sadly, though, there will be no Sharkeshia jokes. (*~eXcEpT 4 ThAt 1*)
It has been a while since I've written anything not of the technical genre, but I plan on putting my all into this bad boy.
peace&blessings sweet people
