Hm, but if one is required to have negative emotions every time they want to possess someone, then how does⦠Ahem. Juniorās professional relationship with a certain someone operate?

Could it be that the negative emotions are a factor in possession? On either part.

Thank you all for your time! Please DM me if youāre interested in the in-person research mentioned above. :)
Hello!!
This is Echo, a student at Hammerlocke University. Iām specifically studying the idea of āmagic as a scienceā, so Iād like to ask a few questions about the specifics of your āCurseā, if youāre willing to interview?
Thanks!

Thatās certainly possible. We can discuss the details in person if youāre willing to help out. In an ideal world, Iād like to try the timing experiment with several people, to test for consistency between people and across attempts. The healing experiment would likely be one person across several months, to minimize injuries while maintaining consistent results.
Other than that, I believe youāve answered the questions I had for you.
Oh, one last one, mostly just for fun: Most and least fun ways to die, in your opinion?

Neither of those are really āillnessesā in the usual sense of the word, though. And I donāt believe youād really want them gone.
You heal from once-a-months after 48 seconds, yes? Is that 48.00? Have you been able to be more precise than 48? If not, like⦠do you want a more precise measurement? I have access to a Pokemon with literal negative reaction time and timers so precisely accurate theyāre allowed to use them for applications involving the future of life on this planet.
Also, like, would you like to experiment with how new injuries have to be to heal? Nothing permanent, but we could give you cuts and then wait various amounts of time to see how long it is? Although, it would be a month between trials if we want to keep all possible variables consistentā¦
Itās. Very hard to get bloodline curses to cooperate with experimental validity guidelines.

That⦠makes a lot of sense, actually.
Does dying and coming back heal pre-existing injuries and/or illnesses? If so, to what degree? As an extreme example, could it reattach a missing limb?

Is it that once-a-months become possible when one turns 18, or is it just that they become obligatory at that age? In other words, can those younger than 18 survive death?

Understood. Iād like to ask a few more specific questions, then:
Is the fact that the death is a suicide important? Does one have to intend to die for the once-a-month to count?
Can you survive death more than once in a month?
Define āmonthā. Calendar month (January, February, Marchā¦)? Lunar month?
How do ghosts appear to you? Are they indistinguishable from the living? Or is there something that sets them apart?

Gods, I havenāt used this account in a year
Ahem.
Thank you all for your time! So, first, Iād like to review the basics:
Anyone of the male sex born to your family is affected by The Curse. Actual gender is irrelevant, only oneās birth sex is a factor.
Anyone affected by the curse gains the ability to see ghosts of the dead
However, once that person turns 18, they have to do what youāve termed āonce-a-monthsā, suicides that the person recovers from within a minute.
Failure to do so results in (actual) death
Is all of this correct?

I seem to have encountered this site's post limit. I cannot reply to you directly.
However. How I acted in one moment of weakness does not reflect on myself as a person. I would thank you to disregard that memory.
it's ok. you can bark back. joy and whimsy and such.
