admittedly im much more of a marvel nerd than dc nerd. but i never liked man of steel or batman v superman bc the portrayal of superman as a character just didn’t feel right.

like im not saying henry cavill did a bad job or anything it’s just the superman he was given didn’t feel right. too dark, too edgy, to unlike the superman i was used to seeing.

and yes is there a dark version of superman in the comics. im sure there is, but the general idea of superman is that he is this beacon of light and good and everything right and fair in the world. and you really feel that in this superman movie with david corenswet. this superman portrayal feels like the superman we should be seeing. he’s light, he cares, he attempts to save any and every living thing out there. heck he even goes out of his way to save a squirrel! he’s just good. and that’s what makes this such a good movie. seeing this character done right after being destroyed a bit in his previous iterations.

again not saying henry did a bad job, i just personally don’t think he was working w good writing.

the person i become whenever i see zayn and harry in a room together being friendly again i will not apologize for.

I’m seeing Zayn and Harry comparisons and it actually makes me laugh. In the big 2024, expecting those two to go about things similarly means you haven’t been following either of them for a very long time, or you have followed Harry and only recently tuned in to Zayn again or for the first time.

Zayn is not gonna run around stage, he’s not gonna do all the fan service and stuff you see with Harry. He’s gonna stand there, sing his music and connect with the fans in his own way. It’s also his first tour ever. This man has been solo since 2015 essentially and is working his nerves back up. Stop judging him and let him do his thing. He was already much more interactive tonight in Manny than he was in Leeds and I expect that to continue as he goes on with the tour.

Also, all of the boys when they were first starting on their solo tours were in smaller venues to begin with. It’s weird to be on a big stage with 4 other people there to ground you whenever you get anxious to suddenly being alone. It’s easier to start with smaller, intimate venues. It’s even better for Zayn considering his anxiety and the fact that it’s taken him 9 years to do this. He needs to get used to it again.

Either way I’m SO SO SO proud of my pookie and if he wants I know he’ll sell out arenas too.
