there’s something so powerful about sukka to me, about two teenagers forced by circumstances to become leaders, to fight battles, give up their childhoods, who have had their homes and safety invaded, finding each other and forming a relationship. About the two of them (and toph) working to destroy the symbols of a country that warped their life. About them finally settling down, being allowed to be children, to relax and admire what they achieved. I’m having thoughts guys

when you and your boyfriend want to do a star wars themed couples costume for Halloween, but you don’t want people to think that you’re heterosexual. 

I comissioned the very lovely and very talented @clubolive to paint this and literally could not be happier! Inspired by @zuzuslastbraincell and their ‘if atla characters watched star wars’ post that I haven’t stopped thinking for three months straight.
