I apologize for the ruse, and any harm caused by it, but I must say the fight went quite well, all things considered. I hope to assist you in the future, however I can.

We are well aware of Father Solaire's infection. He most likely returned to the Radiant Abbey after he was removed from the return ship. There will be no expedition into Mivako Island to save him - not until we are given a clear opportunity for such a thing to happen. Crisanta cannot be put at risk of infection. Nor can anybody who hasn't earned the trust of the Pox Council.

The Chantry would like to thank the adventurers who secured these "resources" for us to retrieve.

The job of a Keeper is a lot more than direct control. In fact, direct control is incredibly rare to use - typically used in a situation where the Angel has fallen under magical domination. A Keeper that misuses direct control is punished immediately and swiftly by death.
Mostly, the job of a Keeper is to remind their charge of the doctrine and ensure they follow it. The mere presence of a Keeper is intended to focus their charge, to show them that, indeed, one does not need to stray from the Path to be accepted.
That is what the words of the Chantry has to say about Keepers.

When one is stripped of good graces, they are stripped of redemption. It is difficult for a known murderer to reintegrate into society, even if they wish to atone for their sins. There was a man I knew not long ago who made selfish decisions that got innocent people killed.
See, he tried every day to make up for what he did - but guilt does not beget grace. Even if you balanced out all of the harm you did, you are not owed forgiveness.
The world will never forgive the Chantry, but the Chantry can still work to change lives for the better. I do not have a say in the greater operation of the Chantry itself. We have been without true, centralized leadership for years now. Scholars reading books written by scholars reading books.

I wish the Chantry had chefs as good as Iysil. A good pastry just makes my day. Seriously.

Do you truly believe you need to convince me of anything?
Due to David's frankly comedic incarceration, I will be forced to provide updates to the Solar Chantry's plans as a whole. I am Diadem, a representative of the Chantry and Mother Superior of the Chantry town Ectora, in Vectum.
I was formerly the Keeper of Icarus, but after the outbreak I focused on humanitarian aid in the name of Hastome, the Elder Sun. I am in Iysil to act as a temporary Keeper for Crisanta, though she is currently permitted to speak freely many of her actions still need to be audited.

A little more about myself:
My name is Diadem, formerly named E'Lara Na'Dair. My brother, Cloth, who's former name I shall not utter out of respect, and I were separated at fifty years old after our parents were killed by the Wild Hunt. It has been over a century since.
He was taken to the Wyrmhill Monastery and I was raised in the Solar Chantries. I was Icarus' Keeper until the outbreak. I assisted in preventing a small scale war on Mivako Island between the Wild Hunt and the Chantry shortly before the outbreak.
My name is Diadem. I am the bridge between the Chantry and the Druids. I exist as an emissary for both societies, and have been assigned to try and repair the damage the Chantry has done.

Do you want me to attempt to rebuff this or is your entire goal as a representative of an independent news organization to speak directly to individuals about the sins of the group they represent?
I am not going to refute a word you speak, because all of this has happened and more. I am here to repair the bridges burned by our influence in the past. I am the face of change in our organization, as I was raised for.

That is precisely why I'd never do such a thing.

Gods, no. Crisanta is *not* interested in me. I'm not the one she danced with a century ago. Oh, was I supposed to say that?

If you want to speak about my username, I will assure you, all will be known in time. I wanted to speak about your tags, it was a FAR more interesting conversation than something so droll as Chantry business.

I am not attracted to David nor have we interacted in any unofficial capacity. I do however have a romantic interest within the Chantry and will not be elaborating further on who this individual is. To keep you guessing.
